Re: What do you want to see the rest of the Year?

One of the problems is Bill C offense does not fit Haskins. Bill C is a west coast guy and that does not fit what Haskins does best. O'Connell needs to work with Haskins strength. We need to sprinkle in Guice in the screen game. A bright spot it Flowers, he is better than I thought he would.

At the end of the year, we need to cut P-Rich, Norman, Davis, Reed, and Chris T.

Is Bill a west coast guy? He seems more like a 1930's "no such thing as a forward pass" guy.

I agree with some of the other posts about seeing what the young guys can do - Haskins, Guice and McLaurin in particular. We could have the makings of a productive "core group" on offense if these three turn out OK. Lose the rest of the games this year, so we can draft some solid players around them (if they look good) and fill some holes on D.

If we lose the rest i want it to be because Haskins clearly is awful, and we need to start over with a coach who gets to choose his own qb and clean house.

If Haskins puts good game improvement, on tape, then I want wins because losing should never be the goal and no matter how many games we win we will still have a top 10 pick to get our left tackle.

It is funny, because every year we always wish for change and a coach who can clean house, but at the end of the day, we NEVER get a coach that has full authority and who can hire and fire at will. It is always guys that Dan and Bruce pick. And that's how its going to be again next season. Bruce and Dan will hire the staff and then pick their head coach.

Close to 35 million in cap savings, and 11 million in dead money, net about 24 million

Re: What do you want to see the rest of the Year?

WR - Richardson is hurt, but don’t play him even if he recovers. He’ll be dumped by the new HC. Another guy I want to ride pine is Terry Quinn. He’s been a huge disappointment. Play McLaurin , HARMON and then try Steve Sims, Cam Sims to see how they do by playing consistently. Steve Sims has had a few big plays but can be perform as a first team WR? Like to see if Cam Sims can improve over the TC drops.

Generally bring in every young player and play them over the vets. Many of the vets have given up now, so the rookies will inject some vigor in the team and may improve with playing. If the new HC has a brain he will dump all the overpaid, under-performing vets. It’s time to go young. I don’t care if the newbies blow some plays, they can’t do worse than the vets in there.

Re: What do you want to see the rest of the Year?

Dan and Bruce interview process:

1. Will you do whatever we say and cut your own nuts off? Yes/No

If the answer is no, the interview is over.

The rest of the interview is a sham too if you lie and say yes to # 1.

Re: What do you want to see the rest of the Year?

Let O’Connell run the offense as he wants. If he is actually calling this predictable and run heavy offensive scheme then fire him. I think that of the dozen or so first down plays we had, we ran on all but one or two. Can O’Connell ever run play-action plays, like the 99% of the rest of the NFL? Conversely, why are we always passing on third down?

Also, why don’t we go for broke on a long distance pass play more often? Occasionally, if you don’t connect on the pass, you get a pass interference play. I think we had just one long pass the whole game (over-thrown). Either O’Connell sucks as a play-caller or Callahan does. I think it’s Callahan’s interference that is causing these problems but I’m not sure.

Re: What do you want to see the rest of the Year?

I agree with Warthogs assessment of Callahan/Kevin O's offense. Aside from that, I'm seeing what I was hoping to see. That this team may have quit on Gruden but that they can bounce back and self motivate. That despite a miserable start, they can find footing and be competitive. That Haskins is raw but is coachable. That McLaurin and Harmon are the steals that I thought they were. That they can demonstrate to perspective head coaches that this team is capable of being successful with the right leadership. That Dan Snyder is being objective about where this team is and where it can go if he is willing to move on from Bruce Allen.
