FedEx Field on Draft Day!

I know there's a thread going on about this in another section, but I don't think it asks who is actually going to go!

Is there anyone here that plans on going to this event, if so maybe setup a place/time to meet up. I'm not sure if I can go yet, but it sounds as if it could be fun. If you're interested, please post here!

I'll definitely be there, Daseal. I plan on getting there early, but I don't know if we'll stay for the whole thing. Of course, it is on a Saturday, so maybe we'll stick it out and enjoy all the festivities.

I'm game for meeting up with any Warpathers. They're supposed to have a big tent sale outside, plus an XBox arcade somewhere, so maybe we could meet at one of those two spots. I'd love to take somebody on in a Madden matchup!

Why stay the whole time, I mean our pick should be over in less than an hour!

If I go I'd love to meet up with some of the faces behind the avatars!

I'd love to go, but we're expecting our first baby at the end of April. In fact, I'm arranging to have the Draft on TV in the delivery room while the little guy makes his entry into the world.

For whoever goes -- have fun while I help my wife bring another die-hard Skins fan into the world!

Wow! Congratulations, Beems! Much props to you for the Draft TV in the delivery room idea! Very nice!

Daseal, you make a good point about the length of our draft this year. It kind of makes me hope we trade down and pick up a couple extra picks... just so I won't have to make that 2.5 hour drive up to FedEx for about an hour's worth of draft time! But heck, with Coach Gibbs expected to make an appearance after the Skins make their picks, it might be worth sticking around!

yeah, bit too much of a 2 1/2 hour drive for me if its only for one pick on day one. who knows though, i've got a ton of family in d.c. so i could very well be there anyway.

Beems, couldn't you drag the wife to FedEx Field? What could be a greater start in life than being born on the 50 yard line?

Congrats to your family. I hope the baby is healthy, happy and a Redskins fan for life.

The only thing better would be to have Coach Gibbs deliver him....lol

congrats Beem

Thanks guys! I actually have enough trouble dragging my wife in front of the TV to watch a game -- but what the hell I'll ask her anyway!! I mean really, what better place to deliver a baby than at the 50 yard line at FedEx Field on Draft Day!

Now if only I could find some Dallas Cowboy diapers ...

Hmmmmm. I know I am new to the board but it would be fun to meet folks. As I wear a small hand-cuff on my left ring finger, my ability to attend is tied directly to the whims of she who runs my life.

Can we make sure to keep this post bumped up so that we can get updates? Well either here or in the "meet-up" forum room.

Well, so far I haven't exactly seen the outpouring of interest I first thought would be around.
