Re: The Redskins 2020 draft class
Sports Center did a peice on Gandy-Golden, from former coaches talking about him, his doing the interview and a lot of the highlights I'm extremely excited about this kids potential and how RR & company will employ him. Freak athlete, smart mentally and a drive to be the best that has been present his entire life.

Re: The Redskins 2020 draft class
I saw a video where Santana Moss gave him some advice to work on numerous moves to get separation and to learn to run crisp routes and not round them off. It seems that if he takes to coaching then he can become a good possession receiver - I hope.

Re: The Redskins 2020 draft class
I love what Rivera and Smith did, they mainly focused on character and attitude. There’s a Reason why TW is gone, questionable character and attitude. They followed the Gibbs blueprint, Ismael, Hudson, AGG, Gibson, CY, Curl, Smith-Williams are all high character and have a winning attitude. Even Charles is going to buy into the system, they spoke to him several times, he admitted to fucking up and changing his attitude.
Hudson and Curl are perfect examples, Hudson might not be athletic or have the height, but his attitude of kicking ass and Hurl’s confidence will go a long way. Scout loved Curl’s confidence of flirting with opposing team cheerleaders. https://www.rotoworld.com/college-fo...04/kamren-curl

Re: The Redskins 2020 draft class
My thoughts on draft:
We got two definite starters, Young and Saahdiq Charles. Ismael adds interesting depth to the Oline. He could even be a starter down the line. Excellent value for a 5th round pick. Hudson could contribute to special teams and also be part of a "third and twelve" defensive package where coverage against pass is needed. The 6th and 7th rounders are a waste. To me the difference between a good draft, which I currently think we have, and an excellent draft is going to be Gibson and Golden. Taking two "play makers" from secondary and, in Golden's case, tertiary college programs is like drawing on an inside straight. It might work but the odds are not with you. Gibson at least played for a top 25 program and he has that unique asset, speed. Because of his speed and versatility I can see where he can help spread opposing defenses. Golden to me is the biggest problem mainly because he is a "big bodied" receiver who did not play in a "big bodied" league. A look at Liberty's schedule show that they did not play teams that would have had big bodied defensive backs like he is going to see in the NFL. The fact that he could overpower the defensive backs from Buffalo, Rutgers and New Mexico State does not strongly suggest he will be able to dominate NFL Defensive backs. So I think it is a very open question as to whether his "big bodied" skill set will transfer to the NFL. To me the Skins would have been wise to add KJ Hill in the 6th or 7th round to give them additional depth at WR rather than the 2 non-entities they chose in those rounds. They also scored a plus by adding Moss as a UFA signing. Overall I think they did a pretty good job. B+ as a grade. I would have given them an A if they added KJ Hill in the 6th or 7th round as a backup to Golden in case Golden does not prove successful at the NFL level. |

Re: The Redskins 2020 draft class
I liked our draft, all because we added an instant starter possible impact player in chase young. If 1 of the guys drafted after chase make it to a second contract, then it’s a very good draft.
I always want to take iol as much as possible rounds 3-7 Edit — how many team captains did we draft?

Curl's biggest football strength: Demoralizes the opposing team by taking their cheerleaders and wives.
When he walks into the opposing teams stadium, the other team be like:

Re: The Redskins 2020 draft class
Saw an early mock draft from Vegas Oddsharks and it had us picking #3 Justin Fields..... I hope we prove the doubters wrong but I can see why they have us so bad with recent history.

Re: The Redskins 2020 draft class
it is not just an issue of DH. It is whether the FO made enough improvements in the offense to give DH the opportunity to show what he can do. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. To a great extent it depends on how Gibson and Golden develop. Time will tell. I agree that 7-8 wins are possible. But so are 3-4. Now that would be a really low total. But if they do finish with only 3-4 wins next year, I could see where they would be looking to Fields or Lawrence in the next draft.

6 or 7 wins would be a big improvement and that’s where I’ll keep my expectations

Re: The Redskins 2020 draft class
Yeah, I was over exaggerating. There are plenty of people riding with him. But still a lot of people that aren't, especially nationally.
Should the Giants have taken Tua? Don't remember seeing that in any mock drafts. Haskins is disrespected way more than he should be.
