I'm sick of the "QB controversy" Snyder/Cerrato have created this off-season...I just want JC to have all the support he deserves.
Well, Zorn and his teammates are clearly behind him, and those are the guys he's with on a daily basis. They believe in him, and when he performs this season, so will Snyderatto.

No that's the only place I've seen that, but a deal should be close since DHB just signed w/ OAK.

its been posted here and on extremeskins that people have received tweets, but i havent seen anything online yet. Sure would be nice to have him in camp. Considering he's learning a new position because we are horribly mis-using him, he needs all the time at camp he can get.

Hopefully he has been signed. Let the kid show up at training camp and see what he does at the new position.

Re: Training Camp Updates:

I was at this morning's practice. Run of the mill. Three things worth mentioning. Devin Thomas looked sharp, Samuels looks skinnier, and Peter King was present taking some notes but mostly talking to a fat man in a suit (who was either a Sidney Greenstreet impersonator or JFK's beat reporter) and Mike Wise. Also Lindsay Czarniak wore blue. So four things.

For the past two years since I moved out of MoCo I've only gotten Baltimore stations; God I miss Czarniak!

"The Blogger" Matt Terl was there also and someone yelled "Hey, The Blogger" and he turned and waved to the crowd like he was General DeGaulle or something. What a joke.

We've always done that.

Not to be a party pooper, but this is a no-contact practice. they're not hitting or anything so most likely, the defenders let Davis and Thomas run past them for the TD.

Just Saying.

I get that it's non contact today, but I highly doubt the defenders let them walk into the endzone. If that was the case the offense would score on every play. The defense has a job to do too.

I don't think so, JZ implemented it last year, and a lot was made of it then. Personally, I like the separations JZ makes between the rookies, mid length and over 4 year vets. I know you have to build team, but you also need the younger players understanding that respect takes play on the field.

If you have ever been to one of the practices, that is exactly what the defense does. They defend the ball while its in the air but that's about it.

Re: Training Camp Updates:

If you look a the schedule in the first 6 weeks the only team that really scares me is the Giants - all the other games are very winnable - so if Campbell looks shaky agianst those teams I don't want to think how he will fare when we get into the tough part of the schedule - especially with the rest of the NFC East games.

Yeah that's probably the thinking around the team, if JC doesn't shine in the easier part of the schedule forget about it, we'll have a full blown QB controversy at work. Especially if Colt has another strong preseason. It won't matter if he's #2 or #3, people will start calling for him.

That said I don't think we have anything to worry about.
