We're different from the Raiders. The source of their ownership problems may die soon. Our ownership problems are relatively young.

wow, that might be the most insulting thing I have ever seen about the Redskins...the NFC's equivalent of the Raiders, where did it all go so wrong?

Truthfully I kind of expect to see DS in valour track suits. Any body good at photoshop? I would love to see a photo of DS in a Burgundy track suit.

Well at least the Raiders responded when A.Pierce said playing the Raiders was like it was practice. The Raiders showed they do have some heart when they got called out. Lets see if our Redskins offense has some heart since they are the laughing stock of the NFL. The Raiders may just be better than we are, now thats some real sh*t.

And we'll find out on December 13. That is the really scary part.

Oakland is a better team than Washington IMO and will likely have the better record in the end.
Its going to get so much worse this year..... WOW is all I can say. Just WOW.

Yeah, terrific to be talked about in the same breath as the Raiders. Well, there's one thing you can say for Danny Snyder in comparison with Big Al: he's probably not insane.

Re: Gannon compares Redskins to Raiders

I was saying the EXACT same thing to a friend the other day!! no offense to skins fans out there.. but the redskins are declining just as fast, if not faster as the raiders did from a couple years back.. The thing about the raiders when they were good is: they had a very good quarterback.. but most importantly... a VERY good coach in Gruden. Snyder needs to stop going against the grain of what other owners in the league are doing and stop buying players, and actually get a good scout team so they draft well and get a good coach.. it doesn't have to be an accomplished coach either, such as Shanahan or Cowher... If they do their research right and actually get a coach that fits in DC perfectly, that would be fantastic for the team. The redskins are notorious for getting players/coaches that are the best on paper, but not for their team. Snyder needs to get a Mike Tomlin/Josh McDaniels-esque coach. Some one that will show the players who is boss and take control of the team.

Re: Gannon compares Redskins to Raiders

Sad, but true comparison. Two highly drafted quarterbacks who have been having problems due to the system mismanagement and coaching issues.

IMO, I'd rather have JC under the helm than Russell.
