Re: Around the NFL week 12

Can anybody answer my question why they think we did not bring McFadden in for a try out? Did we sign somebody I don’t know about? What other running back’s do we have besides the rookie and the kid we signed from Philadelphia?

I thought we would have but it doesn't seem like BA is a big believer in in season moves. Might also have to do with saving what cap space we have to rollover for KC

From what I heard he could be picked up for the vet in minimum,Plus that would have nothing to do with cousins contract for next year, he would be cut by then

Just how much cap we will end up rolling over. I think it's 4million. McFaddens contract would be a drop in the bucket - likely 400k or less for 5 games.

I am like you i don't understand either so that was one of the few reasons I could even venture a guess on

Re: Around the NFL week 12

I don't understand the schedule talk. Every year the division faces 14 common opponents, and 2 uncommon opponents. This year our 2 uncommon opponents are the Saints and the Vikings. Were they both very tough matchups because of how much they've improved? Absolutely. But other than that, we all played the same teams. 2 games isn't the difference between a cupcake schedule and the hardest schedule in the league.

I get that it's easy to bitch now because nobody had the hardest schedule through 11 weeks like we did. But our schedule the rest of the way is amongst the easiest, if not the easiest. Shitting on the Eagles for their schedule seems pointless. Good teams win regardless of the schedule, and that's what they're doing.

Re: Around the NFL week 12

Biggest reason is McFadden is about as injury prone as Jordan Reed. At this point we need availability more than any other ability.
