I think it's Jackson's to lose. He's the flashy sexy player , Wilson is the consistent winning boring QB.

Re: Around the NFL Week 12

Everyone should pay attention to last night game and the importance of the O-line.

Rams Oline has been decimated with injuries (starting G and C IR), RT in and out with injury and lost another Guard to free agency in the offseason all this has completed affected the entire team. No running room and Goff is a different QB.

Baltimore Oline has the answer for Aaron Donald last night. Non Factor. Yanda destroyed Donald last night. Baltimore TE act as an additional Olineman blocking down and setting the edge for Lamar outside run.

Folks you want to help Haskins? Resign and continue to develop our Interior Oline. Focus on Rebuilding the Tackle Positions. Add TEs to the roster who can block. Sprinkle and Vernon Davis are the worst rated Blocking TEs in the league.

Been saying all along, we need a new LT and RT, we are fine inside and have depth with Martin and Piersbacher.

I was shocked Kaepernick made it as long as he did, once defenses put a spy on him he was screwed. He had no touch on his passes, they were all fast balls, not good for throwing over the short middle into the void left by the spy. He is out of the NFL because he was fools gold and quickly exposed. He was also a one read wonder and stared down receivers.

Yeah continue to develop these interior guys. I think Roullier and Schreff are def long term (4-5 years) extensions this offseason. While I think Flowers has been fairly average, I think I would look into bringing him back to develop as LG. I think 2-3 year extension would be a positive. I think as a whole there are an above average group inside. We need to be better at Tackle tho.

Exactly! This would be my area of focus for the offseason. O-line and a traditional TE.

Re: Around the NFL Week 12

Here is something that might sound crazy, Re-signing Donald Penn as a back up Left Tackle ONLY. Let him know we want you here in case of emergency and to mentor.

Penn not only been fairly solid, I love his attitude and demeanor on the field. He is always pumped and playing hard.

Re: Around the NFL Week 12

Moses is a surefire cut. Obviously Silverback is gone too. They both need to be replaced. The good thing is you can sign someone better than Moses for less than what he was making. Trent is basically irreplaceable. Anyone is a downgrade from him. But Penn has been awesome. If he wanted to put off retirement for the veteran's minimum (he's been around for a while so that's a good chunk of change) to be the backup left tackle, I'd bring him back with a smile on my face.

Hardwork and a strong desire to be successful always pays off! He will be in Canton soon enough.
