Maybe we should check out and see if we can get Igor?

Dallas Cowboys set roster, release DE Igor Olshansky - ESPN Dallas

we need a pass rushing DE, not a run stuffing DE.

I would say we need a run stuffing DE, and not a pass rushing DE.

We have Carriker whose a run stuffer, Bowen who's a better pass rusher than run stuffer, Gholston who isn't that good, and scott who I don't care about watching because I thought he'd be cut until Jarvis got hurt.

Max Jean would be nice for depth. But he is a big guy, and I wonder if he would be more of a power G instead of an athletic "speed" guy (MS's first choice).

Josh McCown? Seems to me as we already have 2 of those... lol

If that's the case, I just don't see much to pick up on the waiver wire of any significance...we'd probably need to trade for Guard depth or DE probably too late for that.

I would think it likely that we are going to get a guard..we HAVE too imo

I could see us trading stallsworth. Not sure why we would do that instead of just keeping hicks though.

Re: Final Cuts From Around the NFL

It's sad to see that Sinorice Moss was cut from the Eagles. I still can't beleive he's not a superstar in this league. He was one the fastest guys I've ever seen when he played at Miami, plus he was always making HUGE plays.

A guy like Olshansky would not be a bad thing. I guess we also have to remember we have two great DEs in Kerrigan and Rak if we go to a 4 man front look.

In game three of the preseason we were running a 2-4-5 alot in the first half after Jenkins went out. Kerrigan was standing up next to Cofield and Bowen up front on quite a few plays. I am not saying this is going to be a main look, but I am saying that we do have more than 6 lineman unofficially.

Re: Final Cuts From Around the NFL

Gotta add Zo to that group as well. He played all around the defense this preseason. He played DE a few times, and I may have seen him in the middle a time or two.
