Saying they discussed him is much different than saying they talked to him or reached out

So, do we wake up tomorrow to Allen and Gruden being fired? When we see moves start to happen?

I think the hottest seat right now is Manusky

I don’t agree. We’ve seen the DCs change, but the results are the same. The common denominators are Allen and Gruden. Also, it was them that picked these coordinators, and passed over people like Wade Phillips. At what point do you hold the decision makers on picking these DCs responsible!!??

The defense was the only bright spot at the start of the year. We’ve seen 3 coordinators. Can’t keep blaming them. This is a bigger problem.

I’m saying waking up tomorrow what name wouldn’t surprise me to see in the news? Manusky is the easy choice. No major changes with Gruden or Allen are going to be made in season.

I agree, no injuries except Dunbar and awful results.

I know Snyder has a long history of making rash moves, but he has every right to fire Allen and Gruden now. I’m sure most people would completely support him too.

I disagree. I think an in season firing only happens if Allen goes. Jay basically said his staff isnt changing and DS wouldn't/shouldn't be hiring or firing assistant coaches. Snyder also has been vocal about not firing coaches midseason, but the last time it got this bad -9 years ago- we did wake up to see VC out on his ass.

People make these crazy statements about DS, but in the last 10-15 years please tell me what "rash moves" snyder has made?

Re: Is the End Near For Bruce Allen?

Bruce and Jay are safe until the end of the season.

Bruce will certainly be let go. He’ll go to Oakland and be a puppet “GM” for Jon Gruden.

Snyder will work behind the scenes to try and lure another big name coach here. I doubt he’ll succeed, so I Jay will get another year under the new GM (probably Kyle Smith). If Snyder can lure a big name here (maybe a Harbaugh), then i think Jay lands in Cleveland or perhaps even in Oakland as OC.
