Re: MLB 2013 Season

Nice. Big fan of that kid despite not being on my team, the White Sox.

I'm shocked the Astros beat the Rangers last night. I was expecting about 20 wins from them this season...serious.

I still say the Brewers should have been moved back to the AL instead of Houston. They're going to be eaten alive in that division with the Rangers, Angels and Athletics. Houston makes more sense geographically but I never liked the Milwaukee move in the first place.

AL East should be fun this year.

Orioles and Blue Jays will probably battle for the division...with Tampa Bay and the Yankees behind them. Boston...they can't fix that mess in one year.

Can anyone beat the Angels though? Trout/Pujols/Hamilton...seriously? You can't pitch around that.

I'd love to see the Pirates compete again this season...that was fun to see last year.

Nats all day! Couldn't have asked for a better start to today's game. I was trying to go to the game today but it didn't work out, so I'm going on Wednesday with a friend.

Re: MLB 2013 Season

I love the Red Sox as I grew up in RI but in baseball I can cheer for local teams (BAL WAS) as long as they are not directly playing the Sox. Plus if BAL and WAS are doing well gives me good baseball to watch every night.

Bold prediction: Ex-Nat Mike Morse leads the AL in Home Runs this season.

Bold prediction.

Trout isn't as great this season as he was last year.

Re: MLB 2013 Season

That Yu darvish perfect game was a bummer last night. 1 out away from having the first perfect game of the season and then the batter hits it between Yu's legs. To come that far and lose on the last pitch..damn that sucks for him. Thats the worst way to lose a no hitter/perfect game.

Sheesh, my Astros are being destroyed. 74 strikeouts in first 6 games! Future dynasty, though.

I predict a 27-135 season for Houston. They're in a very tough division too. Horrible move to the A.L. for them.

I don't think they'll be that bad. I'm looking for a 35-40 win season.

After the opener against Texas, my hopes actually rose a little, but with so many young guys what can you expect?

Bold Prediction: Altuve wins Al MVP.
