Norv is back! In Carolina with his son, brother and
nephew. A Carolina family affair.

Re: Black Monday!

Is that a good fit for Cam? I don't know. The best defense to face the Norv offense is a zone, which lets everyone keep their eyes on Cam.

Whatever.

Ive always been of the opinion that Cam has always under-performed and has been a waste of potential.
I think Norvs offense may be good for him and could push him.

Why would it be good for him?

Re: Black Monday!

cam is a beast until his body breaks down, I dont think the scheme will help him be a better passer

Re: Black Monday!

Cam is what he is, a physical freak. He’s never going to be a great drop back pure pocket passer. But he’s still damn good.

Norv’s scheme is based on a power running game and play action down the field passing. Without adjustments it doesn’t seem like a great fit for Cam.

And he’s a good coach; guys play with discipline on his units and he doesn’t have stars. Lots of coordinators excel in that role and flop in the HC role (Norv Turner, Wade Phillips, and Jim Swartz come to mind). So hard to predict who will be successful when taking on the additional responsibilities of a HC.

Re: Black Monday!

My no 1 thing I’m praying for is Jim Schwartz to leave to go HC somewhere. He is too good to be at Philly.
