Re: Eagles Post game
Vernon Davis is already a free agent.
The Hogshaven numbers are a little off.... about $10 million low in savings for the group you mention. Mediocre Morgan Moses is not going to be cut. Anyway they have $39 million in cap space now...just cut/trade Trent and Josh and you are about $65 million. |

Re: Eagles Post game
Maybe, maybe not, they still will need to full fill the Rooney rule.

Re: Eagles Post game
The defense was unwatchable today. 415 yards, 27 first downs. I’ve never seen a team call so many screens; Eagles just knew how stupid and undisciplined this defense is. And the run defense is a joke. We didn’t need to drop two first round draft picks on defensive lineman if we wanted to get ground into the dirt defending the run. At what point do we call Payne and Allen for what they are? Pedestrian.

Re: Eagles Post game
Just another terrible loss. Throw it on the pile with the others. Next week we'll fuck up and beat the gbums.

Re: Eagles Post game
Tough loss BUT the team looks radically better than it did a few weeks ago. Haskins accuracy has improved significantly. Kid can be a great one with the right coaching and work ethic. Love his size, quick release, and arm strength (things that can't be coached.) Harmon, Sims Jr, and McClaurin are looking good now and for the future. All 3 rooks are talented and bring a unique skill set.
I will say this. I honestly think with Snyder's deep pockets, the young talent on the team, and the draft picks/resources, more people may be interested in this job than originally believed. Will be interesting to see if Snyder parts ways with Allen. Will believe it when I see it. |

Re: Eagles Post game
-Honestly yesterday's game was kinda my "dream" scenario: the team looked competitive... but collapsed at the end of the game in the most classic embarrassing Redskins way.
To me that reeks of awful coaching. -Even the Defense's performance shouts "shitty coaches" IMO: blown assignments in both the run and pass games, missed tackles etc... But they did made some stops, I mean they had the tools to stop the Eagles' offense, just too many huge mistakes at crucial times. -One more positive I didn't see mentioned: I thought Wes Martin played well, way better than earlier this season. With Brandon Scherff having been virtually gone for several weeks, having a decent replacement on the roster would be a nice.

Re: Eagles Post game
^ Yeah exactly, perfect day as far as I’m concerned. Good showing from Haskins and several other young guys and we still found a way to lose. A win/win.
