Did you actually read this article? Specifically this part? "The agent’s not going to buy it. The agent's probably trying hard not to laugh." Nobody believes that Griffin has any chance of being here next season. |

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
All it takes is 1 team that doesn't want to wait in the Griffin free agency line and for Griffin to be willing to play. I don't think Griffin would refuse to restructure his contract if it gets him to a team that wants him rather then waiting. And presto you got at least a 7th round pick.
Draft picks, even 7th rounders are valuable, especially when the alternative is bubkis. There is no pain for the FO to wait to release Griffin. |

It's giving the second shooter on the grassy knoll and the production team who filmed the moon landing heartburn.

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
The front office isn't stupid anymore, if there is a small chance at a pick go for it.

1. Contract extension gets done 2. Cousins gets tagged. If tagged, club and player have until July to get a contract extension done. If not signed by then, he plays under that tag for the 2016 season. What if he does not agree to an extension after the 2016 season? He can be tagged a second time and the cycle repeats itself. Forget about RG3 talk of keeping him around. That ship has (or will sail). Ownership has all the chips in these contract negotiations and there is no way Cousins is NOT playing QB for Washington unless he gets hit by a truck. Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
Are you guys sure? I could definitely see Dan Snyder going on a power trip and telling everybody they will never be allowed to release the son he's always wanted.

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
Is it too late to convert him to a wide receiver?

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
Where would this franchise be had we stayed at the 6th spot in the 2012 draft and kept all of those picks?
