Agree. A legitimate deep threat is very important to the success of our offense.

Loved this quote from Richardson
Quote:
Richardson was asked about throwing his body around during an August 1 scrimmage when perhaps it would be better to stay healthy and save it for the regular season.

“How can you do it in a game if you’ve never done it before? So I trust myself,” he said. “That’s why we have a training room, that’s why we have treatment, our bodies have to be able to withstand that.”

I was amazed recently when people on social media were all up in arms over Doctson banging up his shoulder with comments like "why are guys diving and going all out in practice?".

Really?

Because it's football and you have to practice the way you play.

Mitchell also says, Vernon Davis now runs a 4.3 or 4.4 ? maybe a 30....Davis has lost a lot of speed since College. Brian Mitchell is sometimes delusional.

Has anyone seen how Settle is doing? I think he will be the key to the D-line. As injuries happen, i do not want to have to rely on Phil Taylor.

You know he walked to practice up hill both ways in the snow.

I’ve heard he’s been better than expected. Really solid...picks up coaching quick.

A rookie I’ve heard who has struggled is the tackle Christian. First week..no biggie

On a couple of pod casts Tandler, mentioned both the VT secondary guys were struggling.

He said since Alexander had superior athleticism, he might get more consideration.

Stroman, is probably gone if he doesn't pick it up.

Uh yes. But teams can help if there are two at a position who are otherwise comparable.

Does Alexander not? I'm not disagreeing with you, I just figured they both would.

I would actually think Alexander would be a better ST player because he is bigger and stronger (assuming Stroman isn't the designated return guy).
