Re: Trade Deadline Moves

I would love to see Peterson here...would make our defense that much better and it looks like we will definitely be relying our defense more than our offense to carry us...I hate giving picks but would give a first round pick for this guy..he's a beast

Here is the link on the trade: http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/2...5th-round-pick
that was Jerry Reese, as for Eli Manning he isn't going anywhere he has a no trade clause in his contract. Apple I understand and maybe Jenkins but trading SNACKs is just stupid .They're working on CAP space and tanking the year ,good game on Sunday!

I'm glad there isn't a Franchise QB available in the next draft class.
We get to see the Giants tank for at least 2 seasons!

No , I do like the kid the Giants picked up from Richmond. Were there some good young ones yes but no I have not seen a franchise one out of any of them....yet. The Barkley pick was the right move as much as you don't like it I can see why they did it now.

Re: Trade Deadline Moves

Mayfield and Darnold are both playing well as rookies, not sure what you're missing there.

By the time the Giants are relevant again Barkley will be nearing his 2nd contract. The only reason they took him over a QB is they thought they could win now with Eli. Clearly a huge miscalculation.

Darnold and Mayfield are playing Ok no way I am putting them in the HOF yet , we will agree to disagree on the rest. Eli threw for almost 4 hundred the other night and no INT's ...it's not on Eli.

Darnold looks really good imo. Baker needs to chill the f out, once he does he should be legit.

Why I used the word yet. Redskin fans should know as well as anyone that a good even great first year for a rookie QB doesn't mean a thing . Continued success and growth in year two then I might proclaim a "franchise QB".

What is your definition of "playing well".

http://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats...baker-mayfield

http://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/3912547/sam-darnold

He's got way too many turnovers and is sporting a below 80 rating.

Granted, I think he's(BM) giving the Browns a chance to win the games unlike that trashcan Tyrod Taylor.

Same with Darnold too. I get these guys are rookies, but I wouldn't say they are "playing well". They are playing as expected in my opinion. Lots of turnovers and inconsistencies.
