I don’t actually believe that religion plays any part in locker room culture. Not at a level that it makes a difference. May be a few guys who get inspired by it. Im just sayin that being religious doesn’t hinder it.

I hope Jay trashes the organization at some point. They tried to trash him and it was classless. Look at the timing of that video. It came out right before he was fired. That is just petty classless BS on so many levels.

We all wanted Manusky fired, why is he still there? Any idea if he’s going along with Jay?

That video was so who cares, other then Jay's wife who cares. i have been drunk before if you video me i am sure it would not be flattering.

I am kind of just done with this franchise. Who even wants to come here? Good luck hiring anyone to replace Jay that is meaning full.

"Classless". You said the magic word! If there was one word to describe Dan Snyder, the culture he has created, and the actions of the executives he has hired to help him run his organization (into the ground), it would be "classless".

From what I have heard, Meyer's team culture is centered on religion and God. That might work in college but I don't see that flying in a pro locker room.
Gibbs.

I don’t think Urban uses religion as the core of team culture anymore than Gibbs did. Regardless I just don’t think religion plays a part at all.
Anyway listening to the radio and i dont think i have to wish for Gruden to bring Snyders ineptitude to the fore front. All i hear on numerous stations is that nothing will change until he is gone. Fuckin guy.

Re: Jay Gruden fired

Jay Gruden must be so happy to day. To have DS off his nut sack after 6 years is awesome and he still gets paid.

Re: Jay Gruden fired

Haskins liked the "firing of Jay" Post that Redskinstoday posted on IG.

That speaks volumes of their relationship

I think it was, but it wasn't pushed or forced on anyone.

Gibbs made his life priorities known; God, family, then football. He was a guy who lived it, not just talked about it.

He was never confrontational or demeaning. He knew he was coaching grown men. But he absolutely held himself out as a quiet example.
