Cowboys Pregame thread

The reports are saying that we will rotate between Heinicke and Howell. I don't get this logic at all, how can we really measure Howell's progress if we don't give him a chance to get in the flow?

Re: Cowboys Pregame thread

The Washington Commanders will start Taylor Heinicke at quarterback in Sunday's regular season finale vs. the Dallas Cowboys, a move that all but signals the end of Carson Wentz's tenure in Washington, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Rookie quarterback Sam Howell will finish the game, per sources.

"Finish the game" We've seen this before.. He'll come in the last series and throw 1 pass.

I'm not watching

This is stupid. We've seen enough of Heinicke, and this all but admits he's seen enough of Wentz. Start with Howell and finish with Howell you dumbass.

Re: Cowboys Pregame thread

Ron Rivera can seriously go fuck himself. What a dickhead.

Rivera basically telling all fans to not bother watching the last game. And I'll be taking him up on that.

Re: Cowboys Pregame thread

Major sigh... This old crusty fossil of a coach. Does he actually look around and see all of the young QB's that are playing? There is zero point in playing Heinicke. What is Ron worried about?

I keep going back to Brock Purdy, who even in college was the definition of a game manager. He is playing and doing pretty well. Howell was flat out a better player than Purdy, hands down better. Yet Ron feels the need to baby him. Let Howell go out there and sling it around.

Also what an epic failure the Wentz signing was. Ron finally admitting he blew it by deactivating him.

Re: Cowboys Pregame thread

Who cares who is the QB of a meaningless game. They all suck. At this point I just want for the team to have a new owner and a new coaching staff/front office.
