Currently, he is listed as offensive coordinator. But I don't think he previously was an offensive coordinator with the redskins or any other team.

From the profile:

Breaux returns to Washington as offensive coordinator, looking to re-create the magic that he found alongside Gibbs back in the 1980s and early 90s while he oversaw the Redskins running backs.

Gibbs is a mastermind and is running this team like a well oiled corporation in the top 5 of the Fortune 500. He mixes and matches with the best of them and has an owner that will do whatever it takes to get it done.

I think the maturing of Daniel Snyder gets overlooked by the press and from the fans as well...this man is determined and I can't wait for the day he stands on the podium and accepts the Lombardi Trophy! Such a reward for him and his organization....the day is coming soon so prepare yourself Daniel!!!!

Gibbs is the Godfather and he has at least 2 coaches that can be the head of other families. Not to mention (to stay with the godfather theme) : several trustworthy consiglieres - inside and outside of the organization.

Re: # of Head Coaches and O/D Coord.

When Gibbs came back, he said his mission was to build a winning organization. That means team & talent, on the field, the sideline, the coaches booth, the front office, the cheerleaders, ... well you get the idea. Success is not just won-loss for a season, but a winning environment that will be there when he leaves. So, yes; he's building a high powered staff.

Notice how no one is saying how the game has passed him by anymore. How could it with all that brain power?

He takes being President of the Redskins very seriously.

If you have not already, check out the Greg Williams "Beach Blitz" video on Redskins.com. GW is a hell of a speaker! It will make you Jones (BAD) for the season.
