Gruden is starting to sound like a man who has lost his job. He's had enough time, and he realizes it. Yes, injuries have been horrible last year and this year, but even so, that doesn't deny the fact that the team seems to be quitting on him.

I would take a chance on CJ Beathard and see if the 49ers would trade him. I know he lost his job to Mullins but the kid is tough and not scared. If anything, he would be decent backup.

We need an upgrade at ILB pretty bad too.

The smart one is slow and the fast one is out of position.

I didn't watch at all. Yep! I didn't see one single play.

Frankly, Gruden probably should've Johnson from the onset, considering he was familiar with the system from his time in Cincy. It probably wouldn't have mattered in the end, but it may have allowed the Redskins to be more competitive.

We need an upgrade with the fans. Seriously, other than our Parisian friend, we suck.

Ok - not true. Anyone still cheering for this team after the infliction of great pain and anguish for decades should get a game ball (and psychiatric help).

I really like DJ but the talk is getting old. I wish her would stfu and play better.

Out of all the DJ quotes you pick the one where he sticks with the company line?

Obviously someone told the players to stick with the "didn't execute" line instead of getting into it. That's a smart move. Our problems aren't gonna be fixed by airing them out in public.

I feel most bad for French, man you came all the way to America to watch that shitshow. Keep the faith brother.
I turned it off at the same time and thought about French traveling here to see this disaster. I hope he found a way to make it an enjoyable day.

No thanks man, he sucks and is a career backup as well. This team needs to draft a rookie in the top 10 and start him day 1. Add WR help for that rookie and a LG. Hope that Guice is actually good and keep AD one more yr. Keep Thompson as a 3rd down guy. If we keep Gruden and BA another yr I'm boycotting the team in 2019.

By saying "that's what they want me to say", he is implying that's not his real answer, and there is more bad stuff going on he isn't going to mention.

He has gone full passive aggressive. That's worse than what he was doing before.

True. However with all the problems we have, this is barely even newsworthy. He's not ranting and raving (as he's been known to do) and he's not keeping it fully quiet either. Just saying there's better examples of when he needs to STFU.

Horrible. Just horrible. That's the only word i can come up with at this point. I refuse to waste any more of my precious time on a team I once loved to support but which now just makes me unhappy.

I'm with u on this, as I said a few weeks ago. I haven't purchased any new gear in 2 years, and I won't go to another game unless we have a new regime in house. This team blows and the fans are starting to leave by the week. I don't blame them

DJ just needs to shut up. He stunk yesterday too. Those guys on defense laid down like the soft bitches they are. Barkley had like 150 yards at halftime. Oh, and Clinton Dix sucks. He isn't any better than Montae. He actually may be worse.

DJ graded at a 46 yesterday (pff) worst on the defense. He missed tackles and gave up a TD when in 1v1 coverage so yeah he needs to stay quiet the rest of the yr.

Side note:

Josh Norman played well again, he was targeted 5 times for a measly 3 yards on 1 reception.
