Philip Rivers, QB for the Los Angeles Chargers at NFL.com

Kirk Cousins, QB for the Washington Redskins at NFL.com

wow look at the numbers, they are basically identical.

Chargers can't run the ball and they cant stop the run real well, basically an even matchup.. It'll come down to big plays and I just don't think we have the weapons like they do.

Well this sucks, hopefully they work something out. Can’t they just cut Lauvao and Hall. Can you cut a player who’s in IR? Restructure Reed and Norman’s contract.

Here's one possible reason why the Redskins and Brown haven't agreed to an extension | NBC Sports Washington

Just sum this up to poor Front Office management.

Thanks me could argue best. So consistent. Seems to exude leadership too. I can’t fathom what the Bills were thinking letting him go. Can we teach Ryan Anderson to go inside LB and get that position locked down? I know they’re different but the physical requirements shouldn’t be terribly so.

Nick Saban thinks so. This article is from seccountry.com in January, 2017:

"Nick Saban thinks former Alabama LB Ryan Anderson may switch positions when he gets to the NFL.

Anderson played outside linebacker for the Crimson Tide. He was a fairly talented pass rusher off the edge, amassing 19.0 career sacks, including 8.5 in 2016.

But at the Senior Bowl this week, Saban reportedly said Anderson’s future may be in the middle of the defense as an inside linebacker.

Anderson is listed at 6-foot-2 and 253 pounds. As a result, he may be too small to be an elite pass rushing outside linebacker like Von Miller, Khalil Mack or Vic Beasley.

However, he has good speed to cover ground as an inside linebacker. Saban knows he can make plays in the backfield. He had 39.5 career tackles for loss at Alabama. Letting him play in the box and fill running lanes may be the best way to use him.

Anderson had 61 tackles, 31 unassisted, in 2016 as an edge player. And those numbers could skyrocket as an inside linebacker."

And I'm pretty sure Cooley advocated for the switch since he's not generating any rush. He doesn't think highly of him at all.
Good thing Vigil is solid.

Agreed. When you see how long it took them to play Brian Quick, you can hope Davis plays better than Pryor at the very least.

I do think WR coaching is to question though.

Is Quick still injured?

Wouldnt be surprised if our game gets moved/bumped/something with the wild fires in the area. Mostly north of the city it seems but there is one southeast of the stadium.

Dumb. Makes no sense.

I feel like writers just publish shit to meet their deadline without actually doing any thinking.

Yes it's true that moves to find replacements for players on IR have cut into available cap space. Yes that makes it harder to sign Brown now.

But that doesn't mean they can't talk terms, agree, and then sign the paperwork on January 2 when the season ends.

Just because he hasn't signed doesn't mean they don't have a construct in place.
