Re: Around the League Wildcard Week

It looks like McVeigh is considering Joe Barry to replace Wade Phillips. Barry is currently a Linebackers coach for the Rams.

Looking forward to Minny @ SF. Garrapolo v. Cousins at his point of the postseason intrigues me. Minny is tough when Cook is healthy. Will be fun.

Hopefully that happens. Then we can try and bring on mcvay as our tight ends coach again after he gets fired lol

Re: Around the League Wildcard Week

Didn't want to post this in a Skins thread and definitely doesn't warrant it's own thread, but Joe Barry must be one hell of a salesman...

Per Lindsey Thiry...

Per source, Joe Barry has turned down an offer to become USC's defensive coordinator and has signed a new contract to remain Rams assoc. head coach and LB coach.

He played and coached at USC before. Kind of a different situation than coaching pros, as USC usually gets pretty good athletes. Pretty sure being a defensive coordinator at USC is a lot easier job than with the Redskins.
