NFL Draft Prospects Thread

Eff this quarantine, I’m ready for the draft.

Tell me who your prospects you are watching for the Skins. Within the last week I’ve started to check up on the players and positions...making lists of guys who could be options in the later rounds after we take Chase Young in the first. Don’t come in here talking Tau or Burrow...I want to know who you like?

Couple of guys I’ve been checking out who could be there in the third and fourth rounds:

Cameron Dantzler- CB Miss St...solid, aggressive, boundary corner

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/camero...f-ebb6876de452

CHASE CLAYPOOL - WR Fightin Irish- huge, fast...

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/chase-...1-bfb9899e5d84

Tyler Johnson -WR Minnesota- productive, route runner

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/tyler-...9-ca4ef7922f8c

Cam Akers - RB Florida State - this guy is way underrated.

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/cam-ak...4-84e805a9ffce

ALBERT OKWUEGBUNAM- TE - Missou - I haven’t heard a lot about him til I started researching. His name I’ve started to see attached to us...he fast, up the seam pass caching TE.

ND fan here. Claypool has all the talent to be good at the pro level. He has actually put on weight since his last season. Tall, muscular kid with long arms and good hands. Don't know that he's a bonafide 1 (potentially) but for sure a bonafide 2. Would love to land him and Thaddeus Moss in this draft. Olinemen after Chase primarily though.

If we are a primary zone team, I think Tony Pride CB Notre Dame would be a guy who could be late round CB target.

I def see him more a David Boston physical, big body type no 2 guy. The redskins met with big WRs at combine and senior bowl...Norv Turner preference was a big, talk WR in his scheme...that could be rubbing off on his son. Claypool fits that mold

If Tee Higgins WR Clemson would fall to 3rd he is someone I would definitely consider...actually I think he would be the pick

Pride was solid at ND. Not spectacular but solid. Ran a 4.4 with decent size. Seriously he never gave up too many big plays and was consistent. Not elite. Seen a 3rd rd grade on him. Don't know about that honestly. Envision him more as 4th-6th rounder. He always played behind Julian Love's shadow mainly through his ND career.

He's not as muscular as Boston (few are lol) but seemingly taller. His length should serve him very well in the pros. Many thought he'd be a tight end honestly but too thin for that. Listed at 6'4" but plays taller due to long legs/arms. If dedicated, I could see him being a very good pro.

Re: NFL Draft Prospects Thread

I really want to draft players that will help our offense be more physical. We became a finesse passing offense under Gruden. It’s embarrasing. Having an ustoppable physical smash mouth running game will help the offense and Haskins more than anything else. We have massive holes at OL, TE and FB. Big physical players please.

Totally agree. I am seriously ok if they draft Chase Young and nearly all olinemen after that. Haskins will thrive with stellar pass protection. Just watch his Ohio St tape. The oline has been neglected forever and needs to be resolved now.

Everything Ron has done so far on the offense side of ball indicates a move to a running attack. Stacked legitimate depth with at Oline and gotten couple solid RB competition guys. TW issue needs to be put to bed and so we can sign someone at Tackle.

They need to move Trent now. I would love another 2nd or 3rd rounder going into the draft. Honestly, I'd take a 3rd straight up for him. I imagine some team would pony that up for him. Just want the never-ending headache with him gone.
