Re: Time to clean house 1.0.

Talked to Kyle Shanahan for my @TheAthletic story: “What I regret it for was my dad. He had earned a better situation than that. My dad was as good a coach as I’ve ever been around. He could have gone anywhere. It’s hard for me to know he wasted (his last chance) on Washington.”

Yea, we earned it.

I thought Mike was extremely petty near the end, but he was dealing with the people who invented petty.

No matter how well thought out your position is, when you're in a room full of monkeys throwing feces at each other, it's kind of hard to have a calm, intelligent conversation. You end up just trying to shove feces down everyone's throats..

No one holds that against him. He will go down as the 2 time super bowl champion with Denver. His time here., outside of Skins fans, is just a speck of sand in the wind.

This franchise man. I blame Shannahan for the RG3 fiasco tho. He needed to put his foot down. Oh well.

Must be his reward to himself for another great season. And by great, I mean embarrassing as fuck.

It sounds like the perfect place to hibernate from the collective screams of an entire legion of fans that wants your head on a platter.

Fuckin' A man.

It's hard to put your foot down when RGIII is bowling with with the owner every weekend.

I agree in theory, it just wasn't happened the way things were.

The whole thing was destined to fail from the beginning.

Yeah I agree. I don't hate Shannahan or anything. Its just Skins being Skins. He was between a rock and a hard place. His chances of success were severely limited. But I don't think he helped his own cause either.

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.

Should be interesting to see what happens if we ever end up with another superstar the way RGIII was in 2012. Will Snyder learn his lesson and let the head coach do his job or will he empower that player to the point where he’s basically running the show.

Make no mistake about it, Snyder ruined RGIII.

Named the Lady S. Well we know it won’t be named after a super bowl win. Enjoy the boat pencil dick

What's funny is I used to be a strong supporter of the name, given the vocal minority of Native Americans in NY appeared to be the loudest opponent of it, not to mention the fact the name is used on west-coast reservations for their high school football teams. And the Smithsonian connection where it appears the name wasn't as widely offensive as some would have us believe.

But now the name has been drug through the mud so many times and is more associated with being the latest embarrassment to the NFL that I don't care if it's changed. Being a shitshow for 20 odd years and doing things like bringing in Reuben Foster has done more damage to the name than that upstate-NY tribe ever could.
