It's Logan Thomas time. Haskins targeted him a lot, just missed him despite being '6'. with probably the longest reach on the NFL

Allen threw to Olsen a lot last season, and Smith can hit anyone on the field.

Only up from here for him.

Ron Rivera on Kyle Allen's job security: "This will be a game-by-game situation. I think Kyle goes in and he’ll do the things he can and do the best he can and we’ll go from there."

Jonathan Allen on the QB situation: "Alex Smith is a pro's pro. Honestly, I have high expectations for the people on this team and organization. Alex is a prime example of guys with high expectations, not only from the team but of themselves. I'd be more surprised if he didn't come back from the injury, just knowing the kind of player he is and the personality he has and the kind of work ethic he has. So, I'm not surprised at all. If he needed to play, he could definitely do it. He could do it at a high level and I have all the faith in him."

Ron Rivera on Alex Smith working back from the compound fracture: "I’ve been impressed with it. Again, knowing that he’s been cleared to play and then watching him working, especially the last couple weeks, has been outstanding. I just have no trepidation having him come in and play if that’s what happens.”

Stay tuned, sport movies tend to have climactic finishes, and so far, Smith's comeback from injury has certainly resembled a Hollywood story.
In a Hollywood ending, AS leads this no named franchise to the SB.. In real life he comes in plays 2 games and looks awful and Allen is back in

Gibson also could see more action, Allen targeted McCaffrey often last year as well.

I hope Gibson holds up, he is being used a ton. I don’t think he was used super heavy in college. I hope we get a bit more work for mckissic and barber.

I'm not sold on Barber (had the chance to come out of camp as #1 and didn't) and I wish Love would turn up and show his potential. I see a 1-2 punch in Gibson and McKissick. If Allen can open up the field more I reckon they'll get their share of carries and catches each.

Gibson hasn't even had 20 touches in a game yet... saddle him up and let's ride

Really ... wow I run his run attempts are low but seems like he is targeted 8-10 times a game in the pass attack

It's about time, throw him the ball more than one or twice, Wright is a rookie too and is getting balls.

Looking at the snap counts last 2 games ... mckissic got more snaps then Gibson. That’s good.

Haskins called in sick today.

Fair enough. I know his play definitely makes me sick to my stomach.
