I still wonder why Dallas didn't. I agree it's a no brainer - if Callahan wants to stay - but I wonder if Callahan was hoping to be next in line here for HC and will look for a HC job when his contract is up.

It was because when Callahan was the o-line coach and running game coordinator in Dallas, he was next in line for the Offensive Coordinator job when it opened up. But when they hired Linehan from outside of the organization to be OC, Callahan was unhappy and was allowed to 'seek other opportunities'.

I know people are tired of hearing how 'great' the o-line is in Dallas. But they would not be where they are today without Callahan.

2016 NFL Playoff Standings - Nation Football League

Some things stand out...the biggest to me is Dallas has played the 2nd easiest schedule in the NFL so far this season. SOS is 378...lol. Oh boy, when the fall comes....

How is the Ravens schedule at .375?

I wonder how our tie plays out. Definitely hurts us for the NFC East title, and adds some importance to the Arizona game, because they and Seattle are the only teams that could have a chance of ending with the same record as us.

Interesting that the Eagles are 0-3 in the division, and Dal, NYG and us are 2-1.

I know winning all 7 games is unlikely, but it would be great to be in December and half a game behind Dallas. (I think they lose to the Ravens and I hope they lose to us)

SOS is going to be easier for any team that finishes 4-11 the year before. Can only play the schedule they give you.

Idw defend STJ but he's right, the Cowboys only face two different teams than we do this year. Difference is those two teams that we faced finished first in their divisions, and the Cowboys opponents finished last.

Still, once the Cowboys fall back to Earth it will be epic, and I can't wait. Hopefully it starts on Thanksgiving.

You've been living in Pasadena, MD too long. Don't listen to those Ratbird fans over there. The Ravens suck. Still, I hope they get lucky and beat the Cowboys.

I have loved listening to them crying this year. But their defense is a top ranked against the rush. And if Flacco can hit the deep ball against the Dallas corners then Baltimore has a chance. It would be a great start to the afternoon for Dallas to lose!
