Wow. Talk about out of left field. I wonder if this means they gave up on Edwards and Holmes?

Re: Redskins sign WR Donte’ Stallworth to a 1 year deal
I think the Jets are pretty serious about keeping Holmes.
Not sure if this move means a whole lot though. Could just be a low risk/high reward type of move. No guarantee to even make the team. |

Strange. Like Matty said- he may not even make the team.

I like it, the more talent the better folks.. Go get Edwards for a good price then focus on OLINE and Jenkins.. Grab a CB and we will be ok

Re: Redskins sign WR Donte’ Stallworth to a 1 year deal
I don't like this signing. Why did we spend so many draft picks on WRs if we were going to fill the roster with veterans. Unless we plan on keeping 8 WR there are going to be a lot of young WRs getting cut without ever getting a chance.

Re: Redskins sign WR Donte’ Stallworth to a 1 year deal
I agree with ya ..... But I'm worried that we are too laid back in signing bigger names. Jenkins is talking to the cowboys which would really piss me off if we miss out on him. Im not sure I like their approach.....wtf. Let's atleast start cutting guys. GIVE ME SOMETHING. .....

Re: Redskins sign WR Donte’ Stallworth to a 1 year deal
I totally called this
http://www.thewarpath.net/redskins-l...tml#post417502 Seriously though, didn't see this one coming from a mile away. Didn't even realize he was available. I thought it was Houshmanzadeh that was available from the Ravens. But this makes sense for Stallworth as far as proximity for his family, and makes total sense for the Redskins. They get a veteran, low risk, low cost WR. Much better than breaking the bank on a Holmes. We all want Austin, Hankerson, etc. to step it up but thanks to the lockout they're behind the curve so we need to temper the expectations this year. I like this move...but I also liked the Roydell Williams move
