Speaking for me not Malcolm, the pain from the cardinals game kept me from even looking at football till yesterday.

Disheartening to say the least, but time to move forward. Let's see the Skins respond.

Re: Eagles round 2. Pregame

It's really hard to see the Eagles receivers keeping up with the Redskins' offense in this game. Wentz just doesn't have any weapons, like at all. The gameplan for the Eagles becomes painfully obvious - run Ryan Mathews and try to keep the Redskins offense off the field. But Joe Barry should know that - Whitner should be in the box a lot. I'd feel very comfortable with Norman Breeland and Fuller matching up man to man in a lot of circumstances and selling out to stop the run.

Wentz may burn us once, but not often enough to keep up with Cousins. We win.

Re: Eagles round 2. Pregame

It's going to be close. They play good defense at home and that will keep them in the game, along with our inability to get off the field. I want to see Ryan Kerrigan show the F up this week. I already know Smith will be quiet. I've given up on him this year. They might as well put Murphy in as the starter and see if that wakes Smith up.

I'll say this: based on all the articles I'm reading, people are REALLY picking us. I hate that, lol. We're running into them after three shitty games, much like the Cardinals.

If we lose this game then Barry should definitely be fired, because while we do struggle to get off the field on 3rd downs, that comes because we're facing talents like Larry Fitzgerald, AJ Green, OBJ, Dez Bryant and Cole Beasley, etc. etc. The Eagles don't have anybody that can threaten you on 3rd downs the way our previous opponents have. If we can't find a way to get off the field against the Eagles, given our secondary talent, then A) I'll be surprised and B) it will definitely be time to fire Joe Barry.

Like I said, when a team has a deficiency as bad as the Eagles do at WR, it makes the gameplanning so painfully obvious. They're going to want to run at us. We should know it, and we should take steps to stop it.

This isn't buckle up and hold on for dear life as you try to limit Larry Fitzgerald and hope for the best. This is take away the one thing the Eagles are at all capable of: running. And we'll be fine.

But 69 you're right, if we don't get any pressure on Wentz then that's not good. Agree, Kerrigan needs to be a factor. Baker too, we need the pocket to collapse a bit and make Wentz feel it.

I see my early season angst with RK not showing up has caught some wind in its sails. Seems like only yesterday I was being lambasted for suggesting that he is meh.
