But on balance, I like the schedule.
Sure, for me the sweet spot is week 8-12 for a bye. But I'd much rather have a late bye week than a very early bye week, like week 3 or 4. We've been there a couple times in the last decade or so.

More than our fair share - agreed.

hahahahaha.. You gave me a good lol this am Chico.

I think the league did that shit on purpose to screw w/ the Commies and Wentz. We already know Wentz is a bit fragile mentally. He's going to be a mess vs the Jags. The few fans that show up will be calling for Howell week one.

Re: SCHEDULE RELEASE 2022

Man I don’t like that late bye…I’ll take it over an early bye any day if the week, but it’s a long season.

" but at least we have TENN, Clev and Minn at home" lol. Can you explain this statement? I'm confused by it. Are you saying that Dead Ex is some kind of home field advantage? Or are you saying we're better than those teams?

It will put Wentz to the test early … might as well find out ! At least the team won’t overlook the jags… I believe it could be the best thing to happen .

If I go to Philly should I bring a bullet proof vest?

I love Philly, it’s extremely sad to see what’s happened to it. The people in charged have failed the city.

They should napalm Kensington avenue.

Gun violence is nuts around here right now. But as you probably know it's almost always people who know each other and have an axe to grind. Neighborhood beefs, gang stuff, etc.

That is to say visitors headed to restaurants and historical areas have nothing to worry about. This map shows where all the shootings are, they're clustered in North Philadelphia around my hospital, and in West Philadelphia. Those two areas are heavily residential and very poor, the historical stuff is down in the center and closer to the river. Hardly any shootings there, and when they've happened they've been after dark.

For those of us who live or work in any city, you know violence is very much a neighborhood to neighborhood thing, and even block to block. It's pretty easy to know where you can go and where you can't.

I'd take my kids to the historical stuff in the middle of a Saturday afternoon and never think twice. They're just as safe there as they would be in my suburban neighborhood playing in the local park.

I take absolutely no team for granted until we at least win more games than we lose.

I can't wait to see your game day posts this year.

Re: SCHEDULE RELEASE 2022

Everyone here saying we have a easy schedule, everyone else in the NFL that has Commanders on their schedule: "ok there is a W".

Something has to give most likely the Commanders.

Re: SCHEDULE RELEASE 2022

The schedule changes weekly , injuries , suspensions etc. 1 week at a time

While no one would say playing at home is an advantage -- the last last 5 years, we're 15-25 at home and 16-25 on the road. But I'd still rather play better teams at home -- and I think as to these teams, we're likely to see fewer fans of their in FedEx (unlike say other NFCE teams, or teams like NE or Pit). I don't think we're likely to beat these teams, although Cle seems to underperform a lot.

Any schedule is going to look easy compared to the gauntlet of top level QBs we had last year.
