Browns' Scot McCloughan still has Baker Mayfield as his top QB 'hands down' and Kirk Cousins not 'special' | cleveland.com

Still would have taken Chubb at #4 though.

Also, QBs coming from spread offenses in college struggle to say the least with transitioning to NFL. I think these kinds of guys need to sit the bench for 1-2 years.

I know this is a biased opinion, because I didn't want Barkley to fall to the Giants, but I feel that the Browns could have easily done Barkley #1 and Mayfield would have still been there at #4.

It's the Browns.

Yeah but when I said that people gave me the "If you have a QB go get them" speech.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

I think if that had happened the giants would have traded down for a lot of picks. Hate that they got Barkley and Hernandez - they will be great players for them for years.

Hernandez was the last player I wanted the Giants to take after they got Barkley. Great pick by them.

I know.

Wonder who we will pick today. I hope BPA and not need which in later rounds gets dicey. Maurice Hurst? Shaquem Griffin? No idea if there are ants good guards (which would be need based). I also wonder about the QB from Richmond as an investment for the future.

Wyatt Teller is strong and mean. Not as talented as some others. I wouldn't mind taking him some time today.

Averett or Nelson - one of those corners could be there for us. Or Jaylen Holmes DE from Ohio St.
