Sean Davis as well..... must really like Troy Apke, and Curl .... saves some cap space as well..... they are obviously going young some veterans must be getting more than a little nervous

This is what building a team looks like.

Curl is intriguing to me. No one talks about him, but reports are good. Anyone see him play at Arkansas or any credible thoughts? Staff is certainly being decisive about what they are looking for.

They were willing to eat a signing bonus for merit.

A new way of putting together a roster, the exact opposite of Bruce Allen's way of doing things.

Helps when you have the front office and coaching staff on the same page.

Re: WFT 2020 Training Camp

Honestly the Davis cut doesn't surprise me that much, feels like we didn't hear his name mention once in TC...
What surprises me is they cut him AND Jeremy Reaves. So our safeties are Collins, Apke, Everett... and that's it ? We have many good CBs (Fuller, Darby, Moreau, Moreland, Stroman...) and some, including Fuller, can play safety, but I'm not sure what's the exact back up plan here.

They seem to really like Cameron Kurl, the 7th rounder drafted this year, otherwise why wouldn't you keep a vetersn safety until a better option presents itself.... its a real youth movement now

Re: WFT 2020 Training Camp

Thinking about it, isn't the fact they cut AP and/or Davis down to having to keep Smith on the roster? Reckon one of them might still be on the roster otherwise?

WFT 2020 Training Camp

I’m good with the roster with one exception - I would have kept Adrian Peterson over Payton Barber. I know they’re different runners but AD is simply better, and I’d trust him more with the rock, including in goal line situations.

But what do I know? Hail to the WFT!

+1 I don't see anything in Barber.

Re: WFT 2020 Training Camp

Ryan Anderson making the 53 deserves a mention IMO.

I'm happy because I truly think he improved last year, but with the trades talks and the fact it's a crowded squad, I thought he was out. I like that they want to have a loaded front 4/7 and have depth there.
