Re: Jags Postgame

Pros-WRs, Wentz for most of game, Forrest did a good job replacing Curl

Cons-D is still a sieve, JDR game call, I can't say Turner falls here completely but he went very conservative I felt (purely hot take I have no data to back it up) while up 14-3, I was flipping over to Ravens game a bit and up 17-3 they kept pushing the ball downfield, with our offensive talent that is a huge advantage. The first Wentz int definitely that was just bad.

Agreed. I think once Robinson gets back, I'd keep Gibson in the pass catching role and give the majority of runs to Robinson.

Gotta be honest - I think he was just being polite. Feels like he threw a lot of shade at the team in the last year or so because we doubted him after his injury. Which is natural - nobody had come back from an injury like that before. But he was a feel good story because he came back, not because he played great after he came back.

I'm glad he's retired and healthy enough to play with his kids, but I don't think he likes us as much as we like him.

The problem with that is the D would start to key in if Robinson only had running plays and Gibson had passing plays. Gotta keep them off-balance, mix it up a bit.

I ain't gonna lie, sounds like we got lucky with B. Rob but if he comes back and looks gimpy coming off the injured list I'm gonna wonder if his playing style is gonna be impacted long term. RB's need a solid base to make plays from.

Re: Jags Postgame

I think Wentz showed exactly the QB he is. Some really good, some really bad and a whole lot of in-between.

ANd wtf is this shit?? I tell you that Snyder choad never ceases to amaze.

This is epic! This franchise really is a clown show from top to bottom. There is nothing this franchise won't fuck up. It's just nothing but incompetence.

Robinson can catch the ball, if needed, but you can get creative with formations and there's no reason why you can't have both Robinson and Gibson out there.

But you are right, it will all depend on Robinson's health when he returns.

8-9 wins is the ceiling with this defense. Unless our Offense ends top 5
