Redskins training camp thread.

Still 3 weeks out but I figured it was time to start talking about training camp! What position battles are you guys looking forward for the most? All eyes will be on Alex Smith and Guice but I am interested in the defense, Payne and Allen combo, Montae and DJ, Etc. Is Quinn going to be a top 4 WR? Is this a must make playoff season for Jay?

Also for anyone that thinks 24 is past his prime, these numbers stand out.

Im rolling to camp when the Jets show up. Those inter-team practices are awesome.

I'm sure the fans will be on Pryor as well, that should be a good time.

Why not just watch as much as you can.

I like Jay but I do think it is a must make playoff season: the roster is built to win now, baring a non-viable amount of injuries, there's no excuses, it's his 5th season here, so yeah I'd say not making the playoffs would put his seat on jeopardy.

I'm eager to see what OT Geron Christian can do !

If we drop a 7-9 season with no true injuries, yes he should be gone

Re: Redskins training camp thread.

I just want to hear Redskins news (positive preferred) on a regular basis again. Sick of non-football news.

Re: Redskins training camp thread.

Don't read the SI Fantasy Football magazine unless you think we will suck. I made the mistake, geez no love. You'd think we went 2-14 last year with full roster.

We have never gotten any respect from the national media - even when we were winning Super Bowls under the great Joe Gibbs. That's normal for us, so I just ignore their opinions.

I think we're going to be better this season and I'm hoping we can surprise a lot of people with a playoffs berth.

Re: Redskins training camp thread.

The only time I can recall of getting some real love was RG3's 2 years here. (well really 1)

Alex Smith, Derrius Guice can help vault Redskins into contention
