Re: Super Bowl LII Thread

Every award show has been so political that I stopped watching all together. I watch for entertainment and only that. And really think that NFL ratings are down over that same reason. Just hope that Goodell will find it in his heart to fine those who kneel. But would not hold my breath.

Leave your bullshit in the Media Bias thread.

Maybe people didn’t want to listen to Despacito and 24k magic for the mother fucking billionth time.

Don’t get me started on DJ Khalid. He’s the Bruce Allen of rap.

Agreed on why Kapernick really did it.

On the gesture... the protest was interpreted, by those participating in it, just as Kapernick said. Now their narrative has been proven a lie, and proven unpopular enough to affect ratings (how much is a matter for debate), of course there's backpedaling and "oh no it wasn't about that".

I'll be glad if only this is the biggest controversy of this Super bowl, and enjoy a good game. But some people just want to watch the world burn.

Hope the Eagles get blown out this SB, and there are some good commercials.

But you can't deny the kneeling wasn't effective, here we are 2 years later still discussing it.

It only got people discussing his right to kneel and pretty much nothing else, so actually it wasn't effective.

Re: Super Bowl LII Thread

So apparently the Indians have to take the Chief logo off their merchandise, Wingo and Mike or whatever its called was talking about it this morning and if the skins finally need to change the name... I'm sure that shit will never die.

BTW That show is awful, Wingo is terrible at radio.

For the first time ever no white male was nominated for a Grammy according to Yahoo news. I mean isn't that a little racist too?

Re: Super Bowl LII Thread

Just and overview of the NFC East.Skins are improving ,the Giants are fixing things the Cowboys should be good again if they can keep Zek on the field for a year and the Eagles are in the Super Bowl.I would say that the NFC East is again on it's way up. A very nice stat I didn't know until today.

"The NFC East teams have combined to be the most successful division in the NFL since the 1970 NFL merger with 20 NFC Championship wins and 12 Super Bowl victories, the highest marks of any division in the NFL."

Re: Super Bowl LII Thread

Calling it now: Gronkowski, Amendola, or Brady takes a hard helmet to helmet hit this game.

Wonder how well Eagle's D-line will be able to substitute with Pat's hurry-up.

Hope Pat's D adjusts and successfully clamps down on whatever Philly O tries.

Philadelphia police use hydraulic fluid to prevent climbing on poles

Having the privilege to work with hydraulic fluid at my 9-5, that's some nasty shit. Still don't think that will stop Philly fans from trying though.

Isn't spraying toxic poisonous stuff like that just begging for a lawsuit? Even if it is the "organic" stuff, it isn't safe for dumb animals (including some Eagles fans) to ingest.
