Re: Time to clean house 1.0.

The team needs to address injuries.
You can't bring in guys like Reed, Thompson, and Lauvao and bitch about those guys breaking down.
I'm a bit surprised Reed lasted this long but then again they didnt utilize him very much.

If Allen/Williams/Gruden addressed the issues at LG then the line shuffle wouldn't have been as bad when Scherff went down and we might still have our QB starting. They are fools for hoping Lauvao would hold up a full season.

We also need to address the aging players that are breaking down, Moses and Trent.
These guys are warriors but we need to factor their availability in next years roster decisions.

Preston Smith is the worst player on our front 7 (Starters).
He isn't getting sacks and he sucks at stopping the run at the edges.
He needs to be replaced with a speed edge rusher.

Look at Trent Murphy, The Bills are paying him $2Million a sack this year. It's bullshit. That's more per sack than what Donald and Mack are making.

Doctson needs to be on the bench next year.

You can't have a #1 WR that averages 35 yards a game.
You can't have a Right Side Edge Rusher who isn't in the top 90 in sacks.
Josh Doctson is trash, he wouldn't be a #4 on most teams. Dude is slow as fuck and drops balls too often. He's soft as tissue too. By felicia, Crowder may stay just for depth but I wouldn't be upset if he walked either.

I know people are constantly down on Doctson and rightfully so, but I do think he's picked up his play as of late. He's got one year left to prove it. Regardless WR is still a big need.

Don't forget the high dollar signing of WR Paul Richardson Jr.
A player that has a history of injuries. Out of his five season in the NFL, he has only one season where he started more than 10 games and in that season 2017 and he still missed two games. The guy has more Injured reserve season than not. But our FO thought it was a good idea to throw him millions of dollars. Allen needs to go!

I completely 100% agree with this, for a fourth year veteran Preston is not a good well rounded DE. I played DE and I can tell you against the run he fails miserably and is a fucking joke. Against the run he is selfish and does everything I was taught NOT to do and it pisses me off to no end. He is selfish because he does not hold gap responsibility at all. He goes for the sack on every play and abandons his run responsibilities. Despite him playing pass on every play there is no good sack numbers THIS YEAR to justify it.

He was better than Foster. I don’t blame him. I’m glad he got out though I feel like leaving the Skins is like the freedom of a job that you absolutely detest.

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.

We gave Will Compton a shot in the NFL. He would be out of the NFL if it wasn't for the Skins. Fuck him. I hate when players do that shit, especially fringe guys we gave a chance to. If Compton was a starter instead of Foster, we would still need a replacement.

Really an eye opener. Completely on the front office and ownership. Shoulda built the team around cousins when we had the chance. Fatal mistake.

And 38% of that 74% were fans of the opposing team.

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.

I think I'm doing it. Not watching another game until Bruce and Jay are gone. Hope its just the rest of the season. This team is an embarrassment right, moreso than our average shitshow operation.

I'll continue to watch but i've emotionally checked out and grown numb. I don't really buy gear/memorabilia either so there isn't much I can boycott.

The nice thing is there's always next year. And the next year. And the year after that. I'm a relatively young guy, I guess i'll just wait around for the team to get good again.
