Hopefully Cosmi broke the 2nd round draft pick curse.

Have to go back 20 years since anyone has had an immediate impact (Smoot and Jansen)

He recognized that, and tried again. Hopefully Slye is the guy.
You can give him a pass,I'm not.Blewitt has never kicked in a regular season game in the NFL,hell I don't even know if he attempted any kicks in preseason! Plus the dude wasnt even that good in college,WTF?!! RR getting no pass from me

Yeah, he gets a pass from me. No win situation. I'm not saying I liked how it worked out, but I would have liked it less had he done nothing. The whole world wanted, and knew we needed, a change at kicker, and apparently Blewitt was the best available. He tried, and it didn't work out.

On to Cincinnati...

Don't forget we fumbled in the redzone on the next possession too... I had an awful feeling at that point in the game.

Great win. Awesome to feel like this staff has turned things around in the bye. First time in forever the bye seems to be a positive turning point in the season.

Defense was less impressive than last week but still did the job and made key stops when needed. Allen again had a monster game. Nice to see Payne join the party on that final 4th down.

I think where we missed Young and Sweat was in the running game. We had trouble setting the edge against CMC and Cam.

So awesome to see the Oline keeping things together despite the injuries, we had 3 different centers snapping the ball in that game... crazy. Great heart.

Finally. Heinicke. You'd like to see him make that TD throw to McLaurin to pretty much seal the game. But. HE. WAS. AWESOME.
Game ball, masked ball, air balloon, ball pen, my balls... give 'em all to him he earned it !

Trending up. No fluke !

Side note, I'd like to watch the All 22 of the past to game focusing on our DBs. I get the sense WJ3 and Fuller have played way better.

Re: 2 In a Row - Post-game Thread

The win was a nice rebuttal to Steve Smith’s comment about heart this week. They showed a lot of it. Both sides of the ball.

McLaurin is rapidly becoming my favorite player ever. He’s a stud, but his interviews reflect a thoughtfulness and class that is so sorely missing from the game these days. I love that his TD celebration was a nod to a Chase Young who used to do that dance in college.

Right there with you. And my favorite player ever is Gary Clark. A nice passing of the torch from 1 WR to another. But he can't have the title until we extend him for another 4-5 years.

I'm trying to forget about Gibson fumbling again. He is too talented to keep doing that. He didn't get lots of carries at Memphis, mostly played WR, so I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt. I like how he ran angry in the 2nd half.

Flowers is a really good football player when he plays for Washington. Very cool to be where someone actually plays better for us than other teams. Hopefully we can keep him and Wes.
