Problem being they then reached for Dotson. Probably should have traded with the Lions and still taken Dotson at 32.

Assuming the Lions wanted to trade to 11, but we would have gone all the way down to 32. I don't get this logic.

Remember that.

No. We passed on Jameson Williams to draft him, and pick up two more picks… in a deep deep draft.

Maybe. Maybe the Titans would have grabbed him. Who knows? Bottom line is we picked up a speedy wr with good hands that will not only help Carson but Terry too. We also got two extra picks.

Agreed - we picked up an extra pick in the top 100 in a draft where the real value is from 30-100. I'm cool with it. Just worried about the beating Dotson is sure to take on occasion.

How do you not get it? Get the same player (Dotson) and much higher picks.

Well from the analysis I've seen Dotson was ranked in the overall 40-55 range/ranked as a 2d rounder - I doubt the Titans would have taken Dotson over Burk. 2 Years in a row now Redskins have reached for a player ranked in that range by drafting them in the mid first - maybe it will work out this time though.

So you knew for a fact the Lions wanted to trade with us? Also, Dotson was projected to go in the 20s, and given the run in WRs no way he's there at 32.

The Lions gave the Vikes higher picks in the later rounds because they were trading the 32nd pick.
