Please explain to me......

Did we get Duckett to trade? Why in the world don't we use him in short yardage. Has loyalty to players taken away Gibbs ability to effectively coach a team.

I am sick about how this team is being utilized. I love Gibbs but Christ man...Do your job.

Yeah, if we are gonna be the "hard-nosed smash-mouth" skins team that everyone is talking about, duckett fits that perfectly, maybe saunders doesnt have that in mind. Ducket might not fit saunders that well.....who knows. portis and betts are very similar, duckett would be a nice change of pace.

I hear ya, but I find it extremely hard to believe that Joe Gibbs has no say in who plays.

He is the head coach.

If it was something as simple as "he doesn't fit the system" then this would have to go down as the dumbest trade in history. Why in the hell would you trae away draft picks for a player that doesn't fit the offensive system that was only put into place a few months before?
There has to be more to it than just that.

Yeah, maybe he is not what they thought he would be. He could be just really stupid, and unable to pick up the blitz Either way, we screwed up with him. We better try to get something for betts if we are sticking with duckett.

I think the other RBs were not liking his presence on the team. I think it was a choice to keep him off so there wasn't any conflict of egos. That's what I think. Bad football, but I think at the end of the day Gibbs wanted players to gel mentally and chose to bench him.

Why are we rehashing old topics? Duckett isn't playing because roster spots are limited and it's not like our running backs have been performing poorly.

That's it right there, we've been over this countless times. Some people choose to believe it's some sort of conspiracy or a huge blunder of a move.

When the move was made Portis and Betts were both banged up. In hindsight it was a move we didn't need to make, but at the time it was a move that the staff felt they needed to make.

Unfortunately you can't dress everyone, and with Portis and Betts playing well and with Rock a special teams regular, it's just very difficult to justify dressing 4 backs.

I wouldn't get to worked up about it it's not like we need draft picks or anything. You would think Gibbs would throw the guy a bone though.

I don't really care why we got him. He is huge and get atleast 3 yards in short yardage situations. F'ing use him. He is a wrecking ball.

You say there's a problem with Duckett not playing yet you can't offer a logical suggestion as to how the problem should be fixed?
