Why no blocking TE's on our squad this year?

This could be a problem based on all the blocking help Jansen/Heyer will likely need again on the edge. Gibbs knew that....so did Buges...heck, sometimes they put in Sellers too just for additional protection.
Against the Panthers, there were no adjustments to increase pass protection.
Maybe they are trying to see how the OLine performs one on one, but that doesn't make sense with the starters...they know what they've got there.

Is Zorn not familiar with how to bolster an Oline by adding another body?
I think Sellers will essentially be that blocking TE.. Since we won't be using the super ultimate Jumbo package as much anymore we don't need a Kozlowski or other blocking TE.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

Re: Quick Question about Zorn's Offense

QUOTE OUT OF International Herald Tribune LINK MATTY POSTED:
"While Zorn wants to use as little of the play clock as possible, Campbell does have more freedom than he did under Gibbs. Audibles are back, although Zorn hopes his play-calling is good enough so that the number of Campbell's change-ups stays in the single digits per game. Campbell also can opt for the shotgun on certain plays. As a former quarterback himself, Zorn realizes the value in having flexibility at the line of scrimmage."

I know I have been wondering why Collins/Brennan used the shotgun so much more than Campbell did, always thought it was Zorn's decision. Does anyone know how much Campbell has used it? I am really curious

Re: Quick Question about Zorn's Offense

I didn't see him use it all in preseason. He used it last year though.
