Go Cards....just hope Warner takes care of the ball and not fumble at the mere sight of a Steeler defender coming at him. Steelers will be coming, all day long.

Re: Super Bowl XLIII Game Day thread

Anyone tuning in for the 5+ hours of pre-game coverage? Talk about overkill.

Re: Super Bowl XLIII Game Day thread

No way. There's a CAPS game on at 12:30 thats my pre-game. I will watch some after that.

And yes Warner has to have his best day against that D. They will bring the heat. Hope they can get the Edge going a bit and maybe catch them off guard quickly. With Fitz and Boldin if he has a little time he has the arm and the play makers to strike fast.

Yeah I agree the game will come down to whether Warner can handle the Steelers' blitz. If he can the Cards have a great shot, if not it could get ugly.

Re: Super Bowl XLIII Game Day thread

The first little bit of pre-game I caught and Journey was on stage, new lead singer (Arnel Pineda) this kid is good. Then the broadcaster after they played don't stop belivin...clueless. This is the 2nd singer of the band that replaces the original...huh?

He forgot about Gregg Rolie that was the original lead singer/founder of the band, Augeri & Soto. I'm sure Perry got a laugh, I sure did. I don't think he had ever heard of Journey prior to tonight.

I sure hope the BOSS isn't the highlight of the evening...?

Lets get the game on already!

Well i'm preparing myself for the disappointing game. My heart says the Cards are contenders but my head says they're pretenders. We'll see...

This is going to be ugly for Arizona I'm sorry, but you don't win games with just passing. Unless the Arizona defense steps up then we're going to see a blowout. Kudos though to DRC that touchdown saving play was amazing.
