Careful, you're entering PFT territory...

I don't have any problem with what Zorn said. If you can't send a kicker out to kick a 23 yarder (even knowing what we know now), you probably shouldn't be a head coach in the league.

I'm no Suisham fan (as a Skins kicker), but it seems like you're really reaching here.

Be careful with that logic. Suisham can make a 23 yarder, he just missed one yesterday.

Adam Vinatieri is credited with 9 missed PATs in his career. I assume he wouldn't be good enough for you?

I thought you wanted to talk about missed kicks?

A lot of the articles seem to be as sensational as some of the opinions here that get ragged on.

Now it's just getting too nitpicky.

Sorry that my incorrect spelling of personnel has offended some. And how ironic the the thread is talking about being too nitpicky but yet my spelling is called out.

Well allow me to nitpick and say that the situation that you describe is not ironic.

But yes, it would be better if people argued the point instead.

He doesn't say he's blameless.
And anyone would trust a kicker to make short kicks even if he missed one.

Re: Zorn presser: Defends Suisham

It's almost funny to see how Jim Zorn has evolved as a coach. If this was last year he probably would have criticized Shazams execution, or lack there of. Now he defends him. He's still a great QB coach but I don't see him staying in any role after this mess of a season.
