He is the x-factor to me though. Punt return / kick return / reverse or gadget plays that require strait up speed. I think anytime he is on the field thr d has to respect his speed. I say keep him and play him.

Re: Bucs vs. Skins Gameday Thread

crompton was downright sizzling last night. i think he cemented the #4 qb spot on the roster.

i found myself wondering if leribeus is going to be cut. he has not shown much in any of these preseason games.

crawford making plays - again.

cousins coming along nicely.

kehl clouded my vision of the lb corps.

very excited for week 1!!! HTTR

I'd lean towards cutting Banks. Too much competition at WR. He needed to step up this summer and show he can actually play WR and he simply didn't do it.

he can't play wr well, but he is so dangerous as a returner. i say keep him.

over a month ago, i was all for cutting him.

To me Crawford's pick was the best single play by a Redskin in the entire preseason. It was quite impressive.

Banks is a special player. He doesn't have to be used as a WR on offense. He's very small to begin with. Banks can be used in the backfield and in the passing game. He showed last night what he is capable. On top of the weapons the Redskins have on offense, Banks would be an added weapon. Look at the fruit that he produced last night.

I agree. Gadget plays kick and punt returns. Speed kills. When he is on the field he can draw defenders down field with his speed.
