Around the NFL: Offseason edition 2.0

Feels like a ripe time to start a new thread even though it's going to be pretty quiet from now until TC starts. Here's a topic starter:

The Puzzling Plummet of RGIII — The Undefeated

Figured I'd post it just in case your Snyder-hate levels have cooled off since the addition of McC and other wiser heads. If the article is true (and I don't see much reason why it couldn't be) there's a lot of good backstory in there about RG3's days at Redskins Park. Personally I don't care much about him now that he's a Brown, I wish him success and also wish it had worked out but I like where we're at now with Captain Kirk so I don't wish him ill will.

Jason Reid....getting in one more shot. His hate of RG3 is well known.

"Griffin ignored a lot of advice"

"McNabb had hoped to warn Griffin to keep his guard up. However, after multiple attempts to contact Griffin failed, McNabb figured Griffin had no interest in what he had to offer" Reid blowing McNabbs dick

Somebody send this to Jason Reid.

Re: Around the NFL: Offseason edition 2.0

Griffin is in the honeymoon phase right now in Cleveland. If he's lucky to start any games he'll be exposed once the rush is coming at him. Jackson and Griffin are not going to get along at all. Just watching Jackson's no nonsense attitude on Hard Knocks, that is going to turn out to be a disaster. The rookie from USC will be starting by the end of the year.

As far as the article, all that shit happened.

NFL star Patrick Willis is thriving in retirement as a Silicon Valley tech worker

Color me shocked if RGIII is the starting QB for CLE come week 4 when he plays us.

Re: Around the NFL: Offseason edition 2.0

People need to get over RG3. I don't care what he does in another team. If he succeeds, fine; if he doesn't, oh well. It sickens me to hear the local media talk about him. Shit, we have a good team and lots of relevant stuff to talk about.

Then don't read articles about him, some folks are still interested.

What local media is still talking about him? The article I posted is from an ESPN affiliate.

ESPN980 was talking about this article this morning. I will say that they are doing a better job at it, but when RG3 went to Cleveland, they were all over it.
