I'd put Kelly in as the starter. Not cause of the fumbles, but because he looks like he has better vision, runs low and gets behind his pads, has more wiggle and runs violent. He just looks like a better pure runner. Jones for such a big strong guy kind of runs high and timid.

Didn't look good with 71. But 79 can get the job done. Norman will hopefully be ok.

Breeland looks like a back up at best.
I totally agree, but even when we had a rush on, Stafford was damn good at avoiding it and took off. Bottom line is Scotty M better use our first two draft picks for the DL next May.

Idk I hope Norman plays but if not I assume breeland will be..... Let's pray TW and JR can play too because we need all 3

You dont think his reputation alone draws coverage downfield ? Obviously if the lack of deep balls keeps up the opposing d will start thinking twice about it. I still think teams respect his speed/skills enough to send safety help his way several times a game.

He is 4th on the team in receptions for the season and the game.

If we aren't going to find ways to use him then there is no point in paying him.
Jackson and Garçon are dangerous with the ball in their hands. We need to force feed them the ball.

This Andy Reid dink and dunk stuff is killing me.

Yardage leader for the year though, and I agree
We must target him more. Just saying it is not Jackson taking plays off, Jackson lost a step, Jackson is disappearing , etc.
He is too good not to target more.

Yes but KC/play calling is building a reputation for not throwing to him down field.

Jackson has as many TDs as Robert Kelley.
We have to find a way to get him the ball downfield.

Re: Skins lions post game

I actually was at the game, and I thought both teams were very evenly matched. Until the 4th quarter though I thought we were going to lose something liked 24-10. Even when we had a good pass rush on, our D linemen couldn't take Stafford down to save their skins(pun intended). I can't really fault Barry too much on his game plan on the game winning drive as it might have been a result of their lack of tackling skills and the loss of Josh. All in all I can't blame the D at all. Mr. Jones needs to be benched then shown the door after the season or sooner. I also would hope that we might draft another WR. I do not really think we need to hold on to Jackson or Garcon, although I would be inclined to keep Pierre. Outside of Crowder, we really don't have a bona fide WR that is young. I keep cheering for Ross, that maybe he can step it up, but I am not sure he is up to the task. I am thinking Scotty is going to make deals to get more picks next May. We do need some D linemen that can finish and another real CB. These stop gap guys aren't going to get us very far.

Could you imagine what this WR corp could do if Norv was still around?

I think the loss today could be a good thing. They played well, just made the few mistakes that cost them dearly though. I was worried with all that "We Own the East" stuff. The team gets a little streak going and the guys let it get to their heads. Hopefully this loss woke them up and put some more fire in their belly.

Yeah, I wish we could hire Norv as our OC, but the way he left here, I am not sure he would want to come back. If he could make Westbrook and Connell look great, our guys would all be pro bowlers.
