I looked but couldn’t distinguish him, but I could see the left guard position collapsed when they run to that side. But I did notice when the left guard would pull to the other side, he was getting out there just fine. Flowers sucked...he is easy to spot because he is a tall, broad shoulder in the middle of the line. I don’t see how this was ever a good idea, a complete waste of money. They should have paid a real guard to compete at the position. I didn’t think they could make a worse decision than bringing luavoa last year...they have IMO.

If Flowers starts anywhere on our line, yes, they definitely have !

If Trent really wants to be traded, I really worry about this OL. This group is going to have to be rebuilt without Trent. Moses is playing well.
Everyone assumes Scherff will re-sign, I would say the odds are 50/50.

I'd rather have Scherff re-sign because he wants to be here. If it's true that Trent wants a trade, paying him more money just won't work.

As I've said before, the team is going to have to use the #1 and #2 draft picks to get OL players next year and beyond.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread

From 2 days ago but I didn't see it anywhere around here:

2 fights break at Redskins training camp

I actually kinda like it, show me some fire, show some pride... from what I read Jay Gruden made them sprint run after that, I like that too.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread

So I'm considering going to training camp next Monday and take the kids, my son who is 9 really wants Chris Thompson's autograph and I know this could be the last year he's with the team. It says they practice from 9:45 - 11:45...and then return for walkthrough at 4:40 for an hour? Is that worth seeing as well? Do they do anything at all on the field between noon and 4:40? Do the players sign autographs for the kids any? Thanks

6) Autographs

Those who choose to watch practice standing at the ropes will have the best chance of landing an autograph before and after practice. There are a lot of fans, so keep in mind you may not get exactly who you are hoping for on the first try. Being creative with what you ask the players and coaches to sign helps you get noticed, so use your imagination but do so tastefully.

After practice concludes, you also have a chance to get an autograph between the media tents and the training center building. Your odds are low of landing someone here, use this as a last ditch effort.

The best day to get autographs will be Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, August 3rd at 1:00 p.m. All the players and coaches will roam the ropes set up around the offensive field.

This will be the busiest day of training camp, plan to be there early to make sure you are in the right position.

I would suggest fan appreciation day for auto graph seeking, guarantee most players and coaches will be signing . Ive only seen the "practice portion" of camp, Ive never been around for walkthroughs portion. I would assume at the end of each session there are the auto graph opportunities, but its not like its scheduled.

Its worth coming up or down for camp...that area of Richmond is really solid with great food spots and about 8 breweries within a several miles of the field. Its easy to find and right off 95.

I'd say Chris Thompson is one player you have a legit shot at having an autograph of: when I came to FedEx last year with my Frenchie sign, the man took like a full minute at the end of warm ups to cross the end zone and come shake my hand and thank me for coming. He was awesomely nice !

I'd imagine if your son has some sort of Chris Thompson jersey/sign and he notices it he'll definitely take a second to sign an autograph.

Have a great time man, HTTR !

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread

Make a nice sign with Chris Thompson’s name on it. Something funny like “Chris Thompson for President” or something like that. Then have your son hold the sign when the players come to sign autographs. I did a sign like that ( for my daughter to hold) for Chris Coolie at a Redskins-Eagles game (in Philly) and got to talk to Chris and his wife before the game. Then I got murdered by the Eagles fans later.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread

What receivers make the final roster? These preseason games coming up are going to be huge for this unit.
