Id bring back Flowers too…he is under contract for 10 mil without guaranteed money. Extend him, give him upfront money and get that cap number down

Re: We won again post game thread

Raiders are a good team, feel for them re the off field stuff happening during the season (gruden, ruggs).

Carr is a good QB and he mostly was held in check. Surprised they only had one 3 n out. We had good 3rd down D holding them to 2-8.

Jack Del Rio, Sam Mills III (DL coach), Steve Russ (LB), Chris Harris (secondary) get a lot of credit. They have turned this D around. It was a frustrating first 4 games of the season watching our LBs playing zone getting gashed on 3rd and longs but they shut that down and now have the 3rd down D improving.

Hell of a team win.

Gibson - worried we are running him into the ground. So many touches, hard touches.

Offensively, we went 7-13 on 3rd downs, still a death by a million paper cuts offense though. Lots of plays around the LOS. Offense seems to have given up on long balls and perhaps that best. No need to force it but itd be nice to hit on some PA plays.

Jamin Davis flashed, missed 2 one on one open field tackles in the flats.

Holcomb - best game for him this year imo. Those 2 PDs were huge plays.

This, that seems to be the biggest factor in getting or not getting a call. Great play call by Vegas though. Hell take the shot early and see what happens.

When they win they score over 25. They don't win low scoring games.

His arm got hit right before he released it. Definitely changed the throw but it looked like a high danger throw regardless.

TH had a decent game. He made some nice on time throws. Threw off his back foot a few times as highlighted by the booth. Sailed some high balls, especially early.

One nice passing timing play to Humphries, that I think pre bye he holds, hesitates and misses the moment.

I think the fact that, as MTK pointed out, the ball hit him on the shoulder clearly showed either he wasn't impeded or would have out run the pass if he was. If the ball had fallen just out of his reach in front of him then I think that it most certainly would have been called

Best play was the O line come to defend Heinicke. I remember a QB getting dragged across the field and the O Line doing nothing.

That was pure awesome sauce. This is definitely a team in every sense right now.

I dont know how Flowers escaped without a flag. Love the emotion but he went rage mode a little longer than everyone else and fortunate the refs gave him a long leash.

If the shoe was on the other foot though, we'd all be crying bloody murder today lol

I can't even imagine how much we'd be killing the refs, myself included!

Good news, bad news on Thomas. He was lucky.

Agreed !

I don't get the talks of "ugly win". This one was a beauty. The kind of football I love, tough D, control time of possession, move the ball on the ground... Loved it!!! We knew it wasn't going to be an easy one, but we won a game we deserved to win !

The only real negative for me, and the sideline reporter said Ron mentioned it at the half, is missed tackles. Way too many of them.

Haha anything for your mon chéri !

All 22 will only be out after the MNF game, so here's what I found on the TV copy:

Thing is because it's in the tight end box it's technically a legal block... Still dirty and uncalled for, but not sure there's much the league can do.

Absolutely Bush League. He legitimately aimed at his lower leg. So messed up. That should be suspension worthy.

Yop. If I'm thinking in terms of rules, you could still call UNR because it's kinda away from the play and the runner is already past them. Let's see if the league does anything.
