Trade RG3 to Dallas?
So I just came across this article. It may be a pipe dream but I am ready to be rid of RG3. I felt the article had some good points I must admit....Thoughts?

If I'm McCloughan I'd be willing to answer the phone on it but I'd only take a trade if it was a conditional #1 or #2. The risk of giving him to Dallas for a #4 and him actually getting it together to shove it in our faces 2x a year is not worth it. Even if he rots on the roster until the offseason and Jones gets him cheaper, I prefer that. Unless Scot thinks RG3 is so bad that he will never be capable of beating us but pride does strange things. |

Why are we even talking about this guy still? Trade him to any team willing to give up whatever it is that Scot wants in return.

If this guy thinks RG3 would perform better in Dallas than Brandon Weeden would, then he's not watching much actual football.

Dallas's best options are going to be Matt Flynn, Ponder or Ryan Lindley and hoping they never have to use them in a game.

I mean, Weeden came in last night and out played Bradford immediately. I think thats a good sign.

Rex Grossman could be viable there too.

Re: Trade RG3 to Dallas?
Even though I don't think this trade will happen, please just trade him out of the NFC East.
Trade him to Jets or the Bills or some shit. I don't wanna see his ass more than once a year, if that.

Re: Trade RG3 to Dallas?
I wondered about Orton as well. Since he "retired" he may not be in football shape right now though. That said, he is already familiar with the team and system so they may feel that he is closest to getting up to speed for them should they need to go to a #2 guy..

Re: Trade RG3 to Dallas?
I am hoping Mallet and Hoyer in Texas fail miserably. I'm sure RGIII would be welcome back in Texas and that he would welcome the trade. Plus, I would be happy to see him succeed and flourish there - not saying it would happen, just that I would be happy for him to do well in the AFC.

Wasn't it nice yesterday that he was barely talked about (if at all?)?

Re: Trade RG3 to Dallas?
Im not sure why people are saying this. Trade him and they are on the hook for next years salary or cutting him outright and only having him for the remainder of this year. Wait til the end of the year and cut him, and they can have him for cheap.
