Terrible mistake to sign Alex to that extension. He’s a step behind Eli.
You mean the Eli that threw two picks today?

Well he’s a step behind Eli in terms of being done. Eli’s done though for real. Look at Eli now...that’s Alex maybe next year, and def in 2020.

We need to do 1 of 2 things....

1. either completely transition too a running team...LG, Blocking TE and interior depth Oline, as well as drafting or paying a solid RB

Or 2. we need to get rid of Alex

It’s one or the other folks.drafting a young qb is on the list either way

Joking or not you might need a drug test if you really think that Smith is worse than ELI !

Nice game all the way around ,I told you your D would be no match for the Giant line. Jump me if you want but I still think Eli can play that line has him shell shocked!! I honestly believe half your sacks were coverage sacks . Your D was on today ,the Giants seem to have that effect on a team.

Re: Giants Postgame

Although true we have major passing game issues, the Skins are actually #3 in the NFC in terms of record

No, I poorly worded it.

Good game, y’all suck.

You need a new right side of Oline, a new qb and linebackers.

Re: Giants Postgame

Road win v division opponent, I'll take it. D-line was having a party and baking cakes in the backfield, Barkley 38 yds nice. Offense not so much.

Re: Giants Postgame

Man, Alex Smith just wins during the regular season. He did nothing today, but again, no turnovers and a W.

Hold on to your butts, every game is going to be close.

We beat Dallas at home and Giants in Meadowlands. Feels good now. Got some more grey hairs during the game.

Everyone who is saying Smith is no KC, you are correct Smith is a winner. There is more to the position than slinging it around the field. Look at Jeff George, if it was just slinging it, he would still be in the league.

Isn't this what every Redskin fan has been clamoring for since the days of the Hogs?

Not only is the defense holding the elite runners down, they are not giving up points. We are no longer a bend don't break defense, we are a break'em first D. I like that. And we are young on Defense. We should see good returns going forward!

For the offense, I can't see AP lasting all year unfortunately, but the hope is that he is setting an example for Guice that is going to pay big dividends for years to come. The longer he lasts this year the more bonus we get.

Re: Giants Postgame

This run defense tho. It's very very very elite right now. Enough sample size to give them this label. Its basically not an option for teams. Make Eli 1 dimensional and its a wrap.

Our pressure stats were way better than I realized too.

Re: Giants Postgame

Scott gave us Scherff and Ioannidis. I don't think he excelled here but he got us some beasts where its the most important to have them.

Re: Giants Postgame

I would definitely draft a QB next yr. Alex only has another year at most left

Re: Giants Postgame

Alex is here for at least 3 years (I still have faith in him too) and Colt just got extended. IMHO I don't see us drafting a QB this year, nor do I think they should.
