Re: Texans Postgame
I found it interesting that once Colt came in, Reed and him clicked immediately.

Re: Texans Postgame
It’s called being familiar with the offense, that why I wanted Colt in there. Smith was on his 1st year with this offense and learning.

Re: Texans Postgame
I brought that up yesterday right after it happened, but got no comments. It looked like he gave Alex the "what was that?" look instead of paying attention to the interception and reacting accordingly.

Re: Texans Postgame
I'd rather have him over Sanchez or Bradford

Re: Texans Postgame
I actually am more for CK than I first was. First, it would create political correctness media spasms and that's always fun, the racist nickname skins are bringing in the sJw CK? We might actually get positive press for a minute or two.
Second, we aren't asking him to play right away, in fact if Colt stays healthy he likely never sees the field, but if he does hopefully he will have a few weeks to get ready. Sanchez would be my next option, but ugh. |

Re: Texans Postgame
Kaepernick has a lot more baggage and issues over and above the media circus. I detailed some of them in another thread. He also has been out of the NFL for just shy of 2 years. He was also branded some one who did not work hard on his deficiencies, interested in mostly on strength and fitness drills, not the mental part of the game. He is the last person that could come in and quickly pick up an offense. It was well known that Jim Harbaugh ran a limited playbook because of Kap.

Like Jay said prior to the season, the team is built and the expectation was for Alex to come in and lead in the QB position. |
