Screens, rollouts, draws.
I hope Thompson is available...
I really think he is especially needed for this situation.

Was thinking the samething this morning...Thompson really needs to play this weekend, and we need to look for him early and often.

Jay needs to open the play book up to slow down the rush. Ball is gonna have to be out quick.

It only has about 8 pages, as far as I can tell.

I think last week showed Jay's scheme is getting guys open (and Alex missed some wide open receivers in the previous weeks).

This week is going to be critical as far as Gruden's abilities to consistently get his team fired up and ready.

Cooley sat with AP in his 3rd podcast episode, and they said Jay has been hard on the team after the Saints loss, Peterson said he liked that Jay was "100% on them", about the mistakes they made.

I hope the Saints loss can be used as a turning point for this locker room, a wake up call for Jay to keep his job, and for this team to play at the level they can and should play every week.

Stop the run, no coverage fluke, get on the board early, beat Dallas:

You know what? I’m changing my mind. Didn’t realize Jay was so fired up. That makes a difference!

Code red? Week 7?

We're an average team. We're going to win some, and lose some.

I'm going out on a massive limb here, and say we have a 50/50 shot at winning.

Re: Dallas week Version 1

remember....Dallas defensive scheme, we've already faced a similar one versus Indy. Dallas front 7 much better than Indy.

Jay better be ready and come out with a different approach.

Look, "Jay" and "different approach" in the same sentence! That's the football equivalent of seeing a UFO.

You're on a roll, Chico. Tell us the one about halftime adjustments,

This is what makes me nervous as hell. We knew the Saints ran a similar one and we all saw what happened there. Basically Jay is 0 for 2 on game plans against that kind of defense.

I have all the faith in the world we can stop Elliott with our improved front seven. We just need to score some points. Prescott truly is not a good QB and if we make them one dimensional I think we can tee off on him.

Alex Smith has been borderline garbage his last 2 games outside 1 quarter. Jay and Alex should be growing together, with the passing game taking steps...why isn't this happening? New Orleans was among the leagues worst pass defenses and Carolina lacks significant playmakers in the secondary.

Dallas is here and the Achilles heel of the defense is the versus the passing game...can Jay and Alex flip the switch this week?

This time we face one of the god fathers of the Tampa 2. So expect it to be tuned up and ready to go.

It may be a long day for our 0line. We're going to have to get some turnovers and keep noodle arm out of 3rd and 5 or longer. And what has happened to Reed?
