Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
Exactly!! Play with a sense of urgency, instead of panicking.

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
Can this o-line move the pocket? The middle has been getting blown up regardless of run or pass. I think if there is an opportunity to have some success it is against this GB front.

It is, and it has to be because he can’t throw over 20 yards. There is a guy on the team who can move, and throw deep though. |

They have one of the best secondary’s in the game. Turner is going to have to take that into account. Heavy run, quick pass. Which means he will probably have noodle arm throwing deep all day. |

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
Yeah GBs defense is designed to play with a lead. I am sure they were banking on Rodgers getting them a lead and the other team being one dimensional. Luckily for them we have Scott to help em out.

It isn’t even crazy to say that about Turner catering to opposing defenses anymore. The whole world knows that GB’s strength is their secondary and that TH isn’t a deep ball aficionado. Our pass pro is miserable. We have a couple solid backs. Yet I am almost certain that at the end of the game we will have seen heavy passing downfield and an abandoned run game. Quick passing and run the shit out of the ball. That “should” be the game plan. Use JD out of the backfield- zip him the ball - and let him run in space. This, unbelievably, should be a winnable game. |

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
Well regardless having TH will open up the playbook… or is it close it? Ron can’t make up his mind

Safe to say CW may have played his last snap here.

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
not that safe, if Ron is still in charge next season anything is on the table. Doubt he will want to start with a rookie QB with his job on the line, and if he was the guy who decided to get CW he is likely to want to prove he is right

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
They can get out of his contract in 2023 with no dead cap. That would be very enticing if they're not 110% sold on him, which how can the be at this point. If they end up with a top 5 pick in the draft why not move on?

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
Why indeed. You make very good logical points, but that is the problem. It is not safe to say they will follow logic or reason as we and 99% of the football world see it.
